Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown, Jacksonville

My sisters and I came here to stay for the weekend to visit some family that lives in Jacksonville. The house was so fun! We love the pool and the hot tub! The backyard was amazing and the house was so nice and fun!

Great place to stay! Really enjoyed the little house and the neighborhood. Several cool pockets of town with great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Adam and Kiki are wonderful hosts. Friendly and fun! The house is stocked with many extras. If you find this gem, rent it!! I will absolutely stay here again.

This place was spotless. Neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe. I judge by the mattress and I can say my back is pain free today! Aldo was nice and even let us know that it would be ready for early check in if we needed it. We didn’t cook anything but the kitchen was super clean. I will be booking here again! It’s really close to great dining and shopping, as well. ***Thank you for being a 5 star host! ***

This property was exactly as the listing was described. We were only there for the weekend to attend the Jacksonville Jazz Festival and this was the perfect location to enjoy the city. The house was clean with plenty of amenities. There was only a TV in the common area and not in the bedroom but it was nice to be able to use the white noise machine to fall asleep to. My favorite part of the entire experience was the great communication from the host. They were very responsive and helpful which for me is key when you're in a new city. I would definitely return and recommend to this property.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. The home has character, pleasant aesthetics and is in a quiet neighborhood. The space is ample, tastefully furnished and has the essentials to make you feel at home. It was a peaceful place to work remote and unwind once work was complete. Loubna and team were very friendly and swift to respond. I had no issues and would stay here again!

Great place to stay while visiting family in the area. Beautiful view of the river, walkable location to shopping and eating in the area. Only two things worth mentioning is there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, and the ice maker on the fridge wasn't working, but there were 2 ice trays in the freezer. Other than that the place was clean, the AC worked great on the hot days, everything was well stocked. We hope this is available next time we come down.

Ashley’s place was great! It was conveniently located near a Walmart, gas stations, and the highway. The amenities were exactly as described. The pool area and gym were clean, well maintained, and peaceful to use. The apartment itself was spotless. Ashley was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Host was extremely prompt with communication. She was very helpful with adjusting temperature. Mild inconveniences with neighborhood, but overall we felt safe and comfortable. She was very accommodating in last minute reservation changes!

Everything was very clean. Check-in and check-out were super straight forward. The building is beautiful and it's in walking distance of the venue Five, which was our reason for visiting.

We love this area. Theresa’s place was close to our family and our favorite places to go. This area is walkable and close to shopping.

We booked for a concert at VyStar Veterans Arena and this place was very conveniently located for it. The home was very clean and we were very happy overall.

Gary & Rachael were wonderful hosts! The unit was spotless, beautifully renovated, and thoughtfully maintained. The building is a bit older, but you don’t feel that at all inside, it felt brand new, cozy, and really nice. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated the gated entry and having the parking spot right at the door. The pull-down Murphy bed was super easy to set up and put away daily, and the mattress topper made it very comfortable. I loved the surprise ocean and pier view from the couch, thanks to a lower sand dune in front of the unit. The property also has direct beach access, a pool, and washer/dryer units (though I didn’t use them). I had a few questions, including when I first arrived and had a little trouble getting in, and the hosts responded quickly each time. They also shared great local tips. I came looking for a quiet place to write, and this was exactly what I needed. I’d definitely stay again!

Perfect location to beach and walkable to restaurants and coffee shops. Loved having beach chairs, beach mats & umbrella available. We also appreciated the 2 ceiling fans. Everything was very clean and spacious.

If you will be traveling to Ponte Vedra area for any reason at all-you have to stay at Vanessa’s condo!! Perfect for 2-everything was amazing! Proximity to beach and restaurants were a definite plus.! Early morning walks on the beach -steps away combined with coffee/cocktails on balcony were so peaceful & relaxing! The condo itself was an adorable,pristine studio with a kitchen with so many nice “extras” that made our stay so welcoming. Can’t say enough about Vanessa - she went above and beyond in her communication before our visit and that continued during our stay! She even contacted us about an upcoming storm that could delay our arrival to an event we were attending! Will definitely be our go-to when we are traveling in the area! Amazing location, this apartment is a true gem. Bruce and Pamela are responsive and kind hosts, and there is everything you may wish for in the apartment. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely do so whenever I am near Jacksonville!

My family two babies and a dog stayed here for a long weekend trip. It accommodated all of our needs and was easily located to pool beach. The park right next door was ideally the best part for babies and dog. Would stay here again
