Javier’s place was amazing. I was skeptical about doing the whole guest house thing but honestly I couldn’t tell the difference! Will definitely be staying again when I come back to LA.

Diego and his wife were very welcoming! The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful but, close to everything! The place itself is very cozy and has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Der Aufenthalt bei Steven und Maria war toll! Die perfekte Mischung zwischen Privatsphäre und Geselligkeit. Man konnte super ins Gespräch kommen aber durch den eigenen Ausgang direkt neben dem Zimmer konnte man auch jederzeit seine Ruhe haben. Nicht nur, dass Steven unglaublich nett und offen ist. Genau so sind es auch seine Freunde. Es gab eine Party an dem Tag unserer Ankunft und wir wurden super herzlich von den Gästen involviert. Und das obwohl wir natürlich niemanden kannten. Wir hätten auch unsere Ruhe haben können und es wäre kein Problem gewesen aber der Fakt, dass Steves Freunde ebenso offen und herzlich sind unterstreicht für uns nur, was für ein toller Mensch Steve ist. Ganz nach dem Motto: zeige mir deine Freunde und ich sage dir wer du bist. Die Lage des Zimmers ist toll mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über LA. Und nachdem die Stadt doch abenteuerlicher ist als gedacht ist es unbezahlbar am Abend in eine ruhige Oase zurückzukommen.

Me senti muy a gusto en la casa de Susie, tanto ella como su marido fueron muy receptivos, nos ayudaron con las cosas que necesitábamos y nos tuvieron paciencia por el bebe. El alojamiento queda cerca de todas las atracciones, es un punto medio. La zona es bastante tranquila, hay muchos comercios cerca. Si bien la casa no tiene parking, a nosotros nunca nos costo mas de 100 mts encontrar aparcamiento en la calle

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays so far! Both Steven and Patti were friendly and super helpful. The room was very comfortable and well-stocked. It overlooked a lovely garden space with adorable cats who would often sleep out on the grounds. Parking was generally easy to find right in front of the home and the location was quite close to the highway and major roadways. I would highly recommend this space!

Aaron’s place was just perfect. As soon as you walk in it smells amazing, and clean. It’s just the right amount of space. Very tidy and clean. The goodie basket was nice and all the extra touches. Was perfect for what we needed. Aaron & Dane were super attentive and helpful. Communication was great. Would definitely stay there again.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED Elizabeth’s place soooooo much!!! We were completely wow’s by her accommodation & hosting. She brought us extra fruit on top of providing us with breakfast with all fixings you could possibly ask for our entire trip. Her coffee was delicious & the tea selection was incredible. She even left us a cooler of drinks & delicious snacks after we went to the football game nearby at the Rose Bowl. My girlfriend & I have stayed at over one-hundred Airbnbs combined & Elizabeth was by far the best host we have ever had. We felt so at home with her lovely decor, comfortable amenities, & safe surroundings. This was an airbnb experience we will always cherish & never forget. We hope to be back soon. Thank you so much Elizabeth for everything. We cannot stop talking about your place to our friends, family, uber drivers, ect ect. Your kindness & attention to detail is unmatched. Love John & Fabi

I had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean and had a wonderful breeze with the windows open. There are two very cute dogs on the property, they're very friendly. The view was incredible. There is a fantastic bagel shop within walking distance. Very centrally located for things to do in silverlake. I would definitely stay here again.

The place overall was a great stay. Small and convenient. The room was clean and just like the photos. Parking was included which is nice when LA charges $40 a night at hotels. The area doesn’t look safe but it is right next to a high school and it’s a suburban area. It is a quiet area but you are next to a highway so you hear the sirens and police but we didn’t mind it. I think the only thing is there wasn’t coffee to be made in the mornings but there is a coffee maker. If you need a place that’s cheap and convenient I would deff stay here again. We weren’t inside and most of the time exploring so that helped when it came to expenses. Manny is a great host and is very responsive. A small cute studio for a LA culture experience.

I stayed at Taylor and Don’s for a week. I had come from Marina del Ray (staying with a friend) so had got used to that side of LA. If you’re from Melbourne AUS - it’s like Southside vs Northside. Coming to the other side as a woman traveling alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the area. But Taylor and Don were like instant friends; welcoming, super helpful, answered all my ‘can I walk alone at night questions’ and I felt super safe in their apartment. Plus I really enjoyed our other chats when I did run into them briefly. The apartment has everything you need. It’s cosy and warm when it’s cold and wet (random couple of rainy days); nice and cool after being out in the LA heat all day. The space is well thought out, aesthetically pleasing & has the best views to watch the sunset with a glass of vino. Plus it’s so close to good coffee & croissants (Doubting Thomas). It was also really easy for me to get to and from the galleries/sites/bars/shops etc on my list. Sooo I’ll be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the host was very helpful with getting us parked and settled in. Uber and Lyft was running all the time and it’s 10-15$ to uber to the venues nearby. We really enjoyed our stay! Definitely will be coming back when we are planning a trip to LA for a concert.

We had an incredible 10-day stay at Nada’s place. The apartment is perfectly located just outside Little Tokyo, with plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and local spots within walking distance. It made exploring the area super easy and enjoyable. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. But what truly made our stay special was Nada herself. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, attentive, and always available for any questions or help we needed — without ever being intrusive. Her kindness and hospitality made a real difference, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We can’t recommend Nada’s place highly enough, and we’d absolutely love to stay again if we’re ever back in the area. Thank you again for everything, Nada!

This was a nice, convenient, and clean little place to stay in Silverlake. Sarah responded to messages quickly, communicated all of the important info clearly, and it was easy to get into. I will echo a couple of reviewers on here about its quirk - there are no windows and it can feel bunker-like if you stay inside too long. It also might be too small for 2 people. I didn't have a car and there are 2 grocery stores and a few restaurants within a five minute walk, and it's about a 20-25 minute walk to the cute strip of Silverlake with shops/restaurants/etc. It's a great place for someone who plans to be out a lot of the day.

Giselle and Ali are amazing hosts and we always enjoy our stay in their beautiful unit :) We’d definitely visit again soon!

I had spent the weekend in downtown LA in the location was pleasant. It felt secure and safe was clean and spacious. The rooftop was added along with having safe parking across the street. I’ll be referring and booking again soon.

We were in LA for business meetings. Before we make a reservation, we compared Ali's condo with the other condos surrounding. He is the most responsive and most helpful host, and we are so glad and lucky that we made a correct selection and book Ali's house. He likes a local friend who provided us with not only assistance/guidance on check-in and staying but also touring and catering advice. He is super responsive, proactively reaching out to us offering additional help, and so friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Guests can tell from the tasty design, details of guidance, and thoughtful and convenient amenities that Ali and his wife have spent great time and effort to make this place as welcoming and cozy as possible. This place is definitely our stay for next visit, regardless for business or private. The location is close to everything, peaceful, and in walking distance to my LA office and everything.

Nos alojamos tres personas, estuvimos muy cómodos. El departamento cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos y utensilios que uno pueda imaginar para prepararse lo que necesite y están impecables. Los espacios son muy amplios y con muy buena luminosidad. Volvería sin ninguna duda. La respuesta de los anfitriones fue precisa e inmediata para cualquier consulta. El aparcamiento fue cómodo y no tuvimos ningún inconveniente.

El apartamento es igual a las fotos publicadas, fácil de encontrar. Todo estaba ordenado y limpio, la zona con mucho ambiente agradable para salir a comer y super y farmacias cerca. Muy grande el área de estar sala grande y cocina muy bien equipada.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful. The location was so convenient; we went to the bar next door for cocktails, walked to whole food… so much near by. The bed was super comfortable and it was a bonus using the hot tub and seeing the sunset lit skyline on the roof top. I was concerned it might be noisy but it was not at all. I did not hear anything in the bedroom where I need quiet for sleep. It was truly perfect! Malcom was an amazing host, very responsive and allowed us to check in early as we had arrived earlier from our trip overseas. Wonderful stay!

The only thing that would be better is later checkout. June Gloom in LA makes an afternoon the best time to be in or near a pool, and it is sooooo lovely up on the roof. Beds and pillows were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, tv worked well and the couch was comfy to hang out on,too!
