We are only 5 minutes drive away from Castle Dargan hotel and therefore a popular base for people attending weddings, playing golf or enjoying the spa facilities there. We are also 5 minutes drive from the lake “lough Gill “ and the beautiful Slishwood.

The Hobbit House - Unique Quirky Grass Roof House

The Hobbit House is set within an orchard along side 3 yurts. Its grass roof and quirky round door entrance are reminiscent of The Hobbit. The Hobbit House sleeps up to 6. There are two handcrafted King size beds (which can also sleep as four singles) for a friends getaway. It also sleeps two singles, so is perfect for large families. A travel cot can also be provided on request. Private dry composting toilet and hot outdoor shower for those staying in The Hobbit House.

Kitty’s Cottage, Ballinamore, Co.Leitrim

Kitty’s Cottage is located in the heart of Ballinamore town. What was once an old railway cottage has been lovingly restored into a modern and comfortable space to relax and unwind with family or friends. Plenty of dining places and pubs to choose from in and around the town. You can go hill walking on the beautiful Sliabh an Iarainn mountain close by. Try Western style riding in the Equestrian Centre, Drumcoura City, go fishing, play golf in the local golf course.

The cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge. Shower and toilet. There are many walking routes in the area and also fishing close by. It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING
