This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. This quiet, off-grid retreat will allow you to escape the hustle and bustle, recharge, and immerse yourself in the sounds of nature. The 440 m walk to the cabin through the woods will enable you to decompress before you arrive. There's a cleared hiking or snowshoe trail for you to enjoy that goes beyond the cabin. The cabin lacks running water and electricity. We will provide water, lanterns, wood, and a small generator/battery to charge your phone and lanterns during your stay.
