Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Duluth

Great space that was off the main drag yet close enough to get to food/attractions/etc quickly. Very polite, responsive hosts!

Very nice place. Super spacious main floor. Right next to water. We went for walks on waterfront park each night. Bridge over the road is two blocks down. Also played board games each night. House is about 2 miles from main peninsula where the ship bridge is. Slept well although bed and pillows not my preference. Recommend this place for sure.

Our family of four had a most enjoyable and relaxing stay here. I have no hesitation in recommending this location and the kind hosts. It made for a great relaxing and peaceful retreat near the Duluth area. It was an easy drive to Duluth and the North Shore. We would definitely choose to return if there was an opportunity to do so. My husband and I needed a little weekend away with our dog and this property was PERFECT. Close enough to Duluth/Superior that you can do a quick drive to hike, grab dinner, etc. while also being far enough out that you can enjoy the peace and quite of a country cabin. We enjoyed the local restaurants as well. Loved the option to hike on the property with our dog (just make sure to check for ticks, we found quite a few - it's that time of year!). The house was really clean, especially for a place that allows dog. We appreciated the additional touches like a blanket and towel for our dog to use during our stay. 10 out of 10 - would definitely rent again!

Ashley's was just as described, and it is a very cute old brick home. Would stay there again if I'm ever back in the area!

We stayed at Cedar Cove for 5 nights with our extended family with an age range of 18 months to 80 years. This house is a perfect place for a multi generation get together. Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautiful house and furnishings. There are multiple sitting areas and the beds are extremely comfortable. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous. The house is very well equipped with all the kitchen ware we could have needed. It is also stocked with many good books, puzzles and games. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

We loved our stay at Iver’s Place! Great location for a North Shore getaway. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Our stay at Mark and Jamie's place could not have been better. The home was extremely clean, the kitchen well stocked, the decor beautiful, and the outside amenities wonderful. We felt right at home the minute we stepped into the living area. Thanks, Jamie and Mark, for our stay in the Duluth area - you made our vacation special. Very lovely space. Would like to return for a longer time to enjoy the space. Quick run to site see along Lake Superior so was not able to enjoy it to the full. The beds and pillows were so very comfortable. Everything you need in the house. Definitely would recommend staying here

If you are fortunate enough, to spend some time on Minnesota’s North Shore, you won’t be disappointed staying here. Brenda and Tom‘s place is exactly as described. It is more than we expected. It is clean, beautifully decorated, and a lovely place to spend a vacation. The location is perfect and so scenic! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and even spotted an Eagle! We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring the surrounding area, including Gooseberry Falls, Grand Marais, and the quaint town of Two Harbors.

Incredible location right over the lift bridge. Easy to get to and find. Central to restaurants and breweries and quick drives to multiple state parks. Great spot

I loved this place! It was exactly as advertised with solid amenities and no clutter getting in my way. The location was great and it was very peaceful there. There was sound from the homeowners above, but only comforting homey sounds. I enjoyed watching the deer out the windows. The small kitchen was well organized and easy to cook and clean up. Overall a great place to stay. I definitely recommend.

Great location. Rooms were clean, and decor was fabulous. The only problem we ran into was that there was no grill so we ended up cooking inside instead and because it is a lower level there was not much ventilation and the smoke alarms went off...other than that we had a fin and peaceful weekend.

Amanda was very easy to communicate with and friendly. I would’ve stayed more than one night if the situation were different. There is a lot to do in the area. The unit was very attractive and clean. Also, the checkout procedure was seamless.

Enjoyed the sauna, kids love the bunk bed. The mattress wasn’t the most comfortable for me. The place is not fancy but was private, nice porch, fire pit and adequate kitchen. Worked for what we needed.

A truly magical escape! From the moment we stepped into this cabin, it felt like walking into a storybook. Every corner was full of love, thoughtfulness, and hidden treasures. It was like staying in a living museum—so many charming details to take in, quirky pieces to admire, and cozy nooks to explore. There was something new to appreciate each day. Our kids were absolutely enchanted! They spent hours playing with the games, LEGOs, army men, and other little gems tucked around the cabin. Their imaginations ran wild—and so did their energy (thankfully!). The surrounding nature was the perfect playground: long nature walks, climbing trees, watching birds and critters—it was nonstop adventure from sunrise to sunset. And after all that fun? The beds were like clouds. So comfortable, we all slept like logs every night. We are so grateful to have found this slice of magic and can’t wait to return. It’s more than a stay—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

Cabin was very peaceful! Location was wooded and private, with short walk to beach. It was a great place to unplug and unwind as a family. We had short drives for adventures in the day, and then came back and relaxed at the fire and grilled dinner—was exactly what we wanted!

We cannot say enough good things about this beautiful house and the incredible surroundings. It is an exceptional listing with a wonderful host. Canoeing and bird watching was our favorite part— bald eagles, wood ducks, loons, swans and more. Easy drive to Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. Amazing way to celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary.

Beautiful home on a perfect private beach on the North Shore. A group of us get together every year for an agate picking weekend and our normal spot in Beaver Bay was booked, but we found this as a replacement and it was amazing! Great homey feel, lots of cool artwork, and a fantastic view of the lake. Would definitely recommend this place as a perfect North Shore escape.

Brian’s place is very clean and nice. Brian was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. Overall, we had a great time and I hope to stay again.

We had a very fun time and Keith and Sara were helpful when we had any questions. The area is beautiful and canoeing on the lake is a must!
