Our guest house, completed in 2020, is located in the middle of the picturesque town center of Fessenbach, an old wine village not far from the city of Offenburg, which is also often referred to as the "gateway to the Black Forest." The carefully furnished house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. From this starting point you have the choice between nature, city, culture or numerous festivities taking place throughout the year in the nearby area. And Strasbourg and Europa-Park Rust are also just around the corner.

In the middle of the vineyards

In the middle of the vineyards, on the southern slope, with great views of the front Kinzig Valley, our house is in a secluded location. In the basement, at ground level to the garden, there is a cozily furnished apartment, where you can be comfortable in any season and in any weather. The combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom are accessible on around 45 m² barrier-free. Right outside the front door you will find endless hiking trails through the Black Forest.

Surrounded by meadows and forests, a clear view opens up over the Black Forest heights – a panorama that touches the soul. Direct access to a forest and Schnapsbrunnen hiking trail (Oberkicher Brennersteig). The city is about a 20-minute walk away. Quick and easily accessible by car (direct connection to the B28): Various nature reserves, hiking trails and excursion destinations in the Black Forest, Europa Park and Strasbourg.

A warm welcome to Gengenbach in Kinzigtal, “The romantic pearl” of the Black Forest. Our house is located in a residential area at the edge of town. Forest, meadows, fields and vineyards, for you to explore and enjoy, are within 500 meters of the house. Numerous hiking trails, nice little paths for a short walk, mountain bike trails and Nordic walking trails all start in our neighborhood. Shopping, supermarkets and a bus stop are just minutes away by foot.
