Holiday rentals with beach access in Dutchess County

We had a wonderful stay at this well-located house in the heart of beautiful Saugerties. The home was spotless, situated right across from the serene frozen lake. Our kids especially enjoyed the arcade games. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We are appreciative of a clean place to lay our heads. Cindy’s place is exactly as described. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it was stocked with pots, pans, spices, coffee, and tea. The bathroom was spotless and beautiful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The linens were clean and fragrant free. Cindy was proactive in helping us to check-in, and quickly responded to my texts. People live upstairs, so we did hear some activity, but it was not disruptive in any way. In mid-October, the weather was chilly, and so the room was chilly too. We needed the space heater that was provided. We were grateful for a great stay!

The place is as presented in the listing - very easy to check into, a short drive to a grocery stores and nearby towns, has just about everything you need. Some reviewers have noted the highway traffic noise, but I personally only really noticed in the living room while watching TV. I slept really well here, and the back deck overlooking the creek was great for bird watching in the mornings.

We loved staying at this studio apartment. It was a great location, close to Hyde park and rhinebeck. Great restaurants and towns for shopping. The host was responsive, helpful and friendly. The apartment was clean and had all the extras you may need.

My wife, 10-month old, and myself had a lovely Memorial Day weekend here. It’s within walking distance of downtown Kingston, and a short drive to other parts of Kingston, New Paltz and many hiking trails. This location is right next to a dollar general so getting quick groceries/ toiletries was very easy. This location is on a main road, but it really wasn’t too noisy — none of us had any trouble going to sleep. There are a lot of cute coffee shops around, and great places to eat. Also plenty of cute shops to go shopping in the area. Jeffrey was very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed.

A sweet spot with a minimal, serene aesthetic, lots of (real!) house plants, and everything you could need in the kitchen. There was some traffic noise at night - if you're someone who is very sensitive to sound or if you have a hard time falling asleep the bedroom was facing the road - I've lived in cities and busy places so it was fine for me and the hosts thoughtfully left a sound machine right by the bed. This might sound silly to some but for anyone who cares: the light temperature of all lights and lamps was really nice! Warm, natural light that felt cozy to spend time in! I'd definitely stay again on a return trip to Kingston.

Great stay!!! Was impeccably cleaned and perfect location between rhinebeck, pine plains and close to the taconic! Arlene was super helpful with all questions and provided new sheets and towels through our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean home with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. And the town, which is a short drive from the home, is very charming with lots of cute shops and great dining options. The only couple of flags are the bedrooms are all side by side and the walls are thin, so be prepared to be aware of the movements of all staying in the house (or bring headphones). And they’re not joking when they say the neighbors are close, like RIGHT next to you on both sides, and sound definitely travels easier on the water. We were grilling one night and could hear every word the couple next door to us spoke as they had their evening wine on their deck. So just keep that in mind if you’re seeking deep privacy or have a noisier group. But overall a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautifully appointed home. I’d be happy to come back.

The place was clean and exactly as described. On the good weather days, it was nice to be close to some hikes and restaurants. On the rainy days, we enjoyed how cozy the space was.

This was a 12/10 experience! My girlfriend and I both brought out two pups and loved every second of our stay. Every corner we turned was a new decoration in the house that caught our eye, so creative and fun!! Soaked up the back yard, fire pit, and water! We will definitely be returning!!

Still gleaming from an unforgettable stay at Willow Vale which is hands down a 5-star gem! The design of the house is one-of-kind where every detail piques curiosity and wonder. The library stole our hearts from the start, brimming with an extensive book collection and unique treasures. We sat by the fire here every night. The sunroom was the perfect daytime spot where we napped, worked, ate and played games. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the kitchen…we cooked almost every meal. Enjoying the hot tub under the stars was a highlight. We loved that there was a telescope and took advantage of it. The river was serene with a perfect swimming hole…and cold plunge! The house is secluded and there is so much to do nearby. It’s truly the land of hidden gems. Stissing House for dinner is a MUST. As their home might suggest, Matt and Whitney go above and beyond as hosts. They made this family vacation special for us in every possible way. We cannot wait to return!!!

John & Laurie’s home was warm and inviting for our group’s New Years holiday. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and a well stocked kitchen. We weren’t able to make use of the lake because it was January but enjoyed walks around the property and the incredible bird sightings ! Bedrooms were cozy and the home is clean and well sized for a big group. Thanks so much !

This place is even better than the photos! Wow. It felt luxurious. Such a beautiful home. I loved all the snacks Deborah left us and the thoughtful touches (chocolates and water bottles next to the bed). So incredibly kind and very appreciated. This is definitely the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. One “tip,” if you are someone who is used to sleeping in a dark room, then bring an eye mask because the primary bedroom has the most gorgeous window behind the bed and two magnificent skylights above the bed, but there aren’t blinds/shades. So the room is very bright. I would definitely love to go back (and bring my eye mask). Haha. Everything is so nice, the place is SPOTLESS, and the home feels very “new.” I just loved it. Also, Deborah has the NBA channel, which my son is obsessed with watching. This is just the best house - beautiful and pristine, yet cozy. Way nicer than most hotels. I loved the house so much! I loved the shampoo, the fluffy robes, the kids toys, everything!

Jennifer's place was charming and you felt at home there. She met us when we checked in and was very friendly and lots of recs! My mom, sister and I had a lovely stay. Wonderful back patio, front porch and comfortable beds. Close to some nice cafes and restaurants.

Excellent little retreat! Highly recommend for a weekend away. Our recommendation is to arrive at the house before dark as there is a windy dirt road leading up - everything else was perfect!
