Waterfront holiday rentals in Dutchess County

Jeanne’s place was just incredible. The lakefront views, easy access, and water toys make it a fabulous get-away vacation. The patio is delightful with lights, comfortable seating, fan, log burning fire, lounge chairs, and bird feeder that is so fun to watch. The grounds have gorgeous flowers, beautifully maintained. The kitchen is among the best provisioned we have experienced (e.g., blender, gourmet cooking utensils) and Jeanne provides so many extra’s—e.g., coffee, spices, maple syrup, pancake mix. . Although the space is a studio it is so well designed for storage and flexible use that it feels large and comfortable. High quality linens, bath and lake towels are convenient. Jeanne and Jim were very accessible for local recommendations.. We felt like guests in a concierge hotel but with private, relaxing accommodations. This is our second visit and we hope to come back frequently. Highest recommendation for Jeanne’s place.

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute getaway and had such a great time! The apartment is spacious, clean, and we loved learning about the history of the home. The area is quiet and peaceful - we saw a really cute cat and a lot of birds! We really enjoyed using the grill and fire pit. The host is kind and responsive so we would definitely reconsider booking a stay at one of their Airbnb’s again! Thank you Tonya!

This apartment was super clean and central to anything that you would want to do in Beacon. HsinYin was very communicative throughout the process and I would definitely stay here again.

I loved staying here! It was one of my all time favorite spots. Mostly communicated with his wife in the ap but met him and his son outside as it’s above their work garage, wasn’t a problem at all. Not too noisey at all, quieter than living in the city and felt like they super respected my privacy. They were SO friendly and I had one quick little issue with parking and it was immediately resolved! Could not ask for more. The most comfortable couch. Nice to be able to change the temperate in each zone of the house. Beautiful layout and soooo clean and new with lots of touches of wood trim/nostolgic fishmen stuff not overdone that I adored. I think during the spring/summer/fall the ambiance outdoors will be more beautiful when all the plastic covers come off the boats outside.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were generous with providing goodies in the kitchen, which was well-stocked. It's a darker apartment but the deck outside was very cheerful as was their entire back yard right on the river. They even had kayaks and canoes to use and a lovely dock. Except for the busy street out front, it was just what we needed.

Place was great and beautifully situated on the creek. We had a little winter storm overnight and SK was there in the morning to shovel and plow the walks and driveways. Fridge had some eggs in it which were very welcome for breakfasts! Thank you SK!

Beautiful location, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean home with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. And the town, which is a short drive from the home, is very charming with lots of cute shops and great dining options. The only couple of flags are the bedrooms are all side by side and the walls are thin, so be prepared to be aware of the movements of all staying in the house (or bring headphones). And they’re not joking when they say the neighbors are close, like RIGHT next to you on both sides, and sound definitely travels easier on the water. We were grilling one night and could hear every word the couple next door to us spoke as they had their evening wine on their deck. So just keep that in mind if you’re seeking deep privacy or have a noisier group. But overall a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautifully appointed home. I’d be happy to come back.

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

The place was clean and exactly as described. On the good weather days, it was nice to be close to some hikes and restaurants. On the rainy days, we enjoyed how cozy the space was.

This was a 12/10 experience! My girlfriend and I both brought out two pups and loved every second of our stay. Every corner we turned was a new decoration in the house that caught our eye, so creative and fun!! Soaked up the back yard, fire pit, and water! We will definitely be returning!!

We had the best long weekend, the house is immaculately clean and so peaceful. Enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch looking out at the water. Wish we could have stayed longer! The area is beautiful, lots to do. Would definitely go back for another stay!

Juliana and Paul were great hosts! There was a storm the day we arrived and they communicated about the towns power outage before our arrival. They had generators on hand and Paul set up the generator and had many extension cords, flashlights and called local supermarkets/restaurants for us. Luckily the outage was just a few hours. The place was clean and spotless. It was quiet and a short drive into Main Street where you can find restaurants. It is close to many beautiful hikes. We would certainly return as it was a joy to stay in such a peaceful home.

Billy and Rhobin were so helpful and easy to communicate with. The house was so comfortable and peaceful. The property was lovely! 5 Stars all around! Thank you for a fantastic stay!
