Walden ligt temidden van het unieke coulissen landschap de Friese wouden. Bomen, heggen en houtwallen omzomen de weilanden. Met daartussen graslanden, water en stukjes bos. Het ziet er knus uit, die grasvelden tussen de bomen. Smûk, zeggen we in het Fries. Hier leven wel 250 soorten vogels en veel andere dieren. Vanuit de ijstijd kreeg het gebied ook nog eens pingo’s cadeau. Gelegen temidden van 2 Nationale parken; Lauwersmeer en de Alde Feannen. Ideaal fiets en wandelgebied.

Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, you can board the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and is equipped with every comfort. You can stay comfortably with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are wonderful. They are now set up as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. Wi-Fi is of course also available.
