Holiday rentals with beach access in East County, San Diego

Me and my partner were here for a concert, the location is very walkable and beautiful. The stay is also very comforting, and exactly what we needed. The hosts were extremely welcoming, and gave us recommendations on activities, and places to eat. I will definitely be coming again.

Joaquins place was so nice and as pictured. We felt so at home and had everything we needed for a nice stay! We really appreciated the hospitality and the bikes were a plus! The location is great and parking was easy. The bed was comfortable, everything was perfect. Some tips: the place was a little difficult for us to find (a user error Im sure) but we looked at the trash cans for the house number. To adjust the seat on the bikes there are tools attached to one of the pouches on one of the bikes. You won't be disappointed in this rental, would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved, and would recommend Matthew's vacation rental. We have stayed in Oceanside several times for a quick get away and this lovely location is by far our favorite. We hope we will be able to return in the near future. A parking spot is right in front of the property, Matthew's check in and out instructions are clear and easy to follow, the location cannot be beat, with the ocean and private beach just steps away. The interior has everything you could possibly need, it was clean and well stocked. I personally appreciated the binoculars and decaf coffee. It was wonderful to sit outdoors and watch dolphins, seabirds, surfers, dogs happy to be on the beach, and relax to the sound of the waves. There are many great restaurants nearby, and plenty of activities and places to visit in and around town. The best part was the feeling of being in our own little private sanctuary. Evan’s place was exactly as described! It was private, peaceful, and clean. He was also very attentive and readily available. Awesome experience and glad we found this spot! We especially appreciated the private on site parking.

We had a lovely stay at Rob’s. The location is impossible to beat with amazing restaurants, bars and coffee shops all in walking distance. The space is small as it is a studio but it was perfect for a long weekend with myself and my husband. Communication was extremely fast and everything was smooth as can be with our hosts!

Location, location, location. This unit is very conveniently located within walking distance of everything the Village of La Jolla has to offer, from the coves and the park to the walking trails along the bluff and all the cafes, shops, eateries and bars along the way. Well appointed space, clean and comfortable; I made use of the beach towels and sunscreen provided which was appreciated. Host was responsive which is always a plus.

Beautiful home in an excellent location. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great stay. The backyard was especially beautiful and lush, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. We had trouble figuring out the TV, and Alexander made a special trip to fix it immediately, which we really appreciated. He was incredibly attentive, always responded within 30 minutes, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this!

Paul and Amy's place is just as described - a big backyard with plenty of space for dogs to run around, spa amenities, and a comfortable interior. I ran the SD marathon, so it was nice having the spa treatment there. The area is nice and walkable, with restaurants nearby by car. Would stay again!

This was the perfect place to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. It was quiet and had a great view of the ocean. The deck was a peaceful place to eat meals, hang out and read. Super close to the beach and great restaurants. We will be back.

This beautiful guest home in historic Marston Hills is perfect for a San Diego getaway! It was pristine, well-maintained, and so comfortable. We were able to walk to Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, as well as nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The pool was also a lovely amenity, and the surrounding canyon was a gorgeous backdrop. Jing is an amazing host. She truly goes the extra mile to take care of her guests. The home is stocked with amenities - kitchenware for cooking, toiletries and extra towels, even pool or beach supplies! We loved our stay in Jing’s guest home, and are so grateful for the hospitality. An amazing location and our incredible host made our stay so memorable and enjoyable. Lisa and Menotti have a beautiful beach escape that was perfect for our small group celebrating a birthday. The sliding door and balcony were beautiful and such a nice feature to let in the beach breeze. The house was pristine, comfortable, and so well designed. All amenities you would need. The hosts were super responsive and helpful and accommodated a late check out which allowed us to wake up early and check out low tide in the morning! Definitely will stay again.

Anthony was very prompt in responding to any questions we had. He accommodated our specific needs and was helpful with last minute inquiries. Perfect location with spacious, but welcoming environment. Home was stocked with all basic needs so you didn’t immediately need to run out to buy necessities. We also appreciated the art work and decor that isn’t normally in a rental. Loved the fireplace, fire pit, and outdoor entertainment garage. I enjoyed the rooftop desk the most, while the family spread out to the other areas. Wonderful family home with all sad to leave.

This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. This was a wonderful place to stay. My wife, my two children, and myself stayed here for three nights. Everything was a breeze, and we had everything that we needed. Mugs, glasses, plates, etc. were all provided. This is so conveniently located. You are within a three minute walk to Starbucks, a four minute walk to the beach, and a four minute walk to outstanding restaurants nearby. The area is safe, clean, and quiet. This place is ideal for a small family that is bringing only one car. If you bring more than one car, you have to park publicly on the side of the street, which is very inconvenient in my opinion. Geoff provided everything for us, including an extra twin size bed, sand toys for the beach, beach, chairs, and beach towels. We would love to stay with Jeff again.

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place. It was plenty of space for 3 of us to stay. Great views. It gets a little warm at night in the bedroom without air conditioning but they do provide an extra fan which helps. Overall, the space was great and we would recommend to others.

Incredible location right on the beach! Great restaurants and eateries all in walking distance, including coffee shops, bakery, and convenience stores. Emmy's welcome book included great tips and recommendations for the area. Both the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, both well stocked. Highly recommend.
