Superb Ringwood Home with a View & Fishing Rights

Guests have the sole use of a contemporary purpose built self contained annexe within the grounds of a gated house in a private estate. Complete with underfloor heating, water softener, fitted kitchen with washer/dryer and use of the lower terraces and garden surrounding the main house which has magnificent views across the river Avon to the New Forest. We have fishing rights for the river at the bottom of the garden for any keen anglers. Coarse fishing byelaws apply, closed season 15/3-15/6.

Our Cabin is set in a secluded spot with lovely views overlooking farmland, horse paddocks and the surrounding countryside. There are many footpaths in the area. A 10 minute walk will take you into ancient Postlebury Woods or to our small aesthetic lake. Imagine coming back from a long relaxing walk or maybe from shopping and exploring the Roman city of Bath to a warming meal in the cabin followed by marshmallows over the firepit. The Old Reading Room West Stafford, Dorset.

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. We have now lovingly restored, decorated and furnished this amazing building into a cosy self catering holiday retreat, "far from the madding crowd" Open plan, comfy double sofabed, wood burner, country walks and fabulous village pub.
