Two nights at Lu and Dan's place. The family are very welcoming and friendly. Having read all the reviews about "Lu's excellent breakfast", we were so looking forward to it, especially as we had a back-to-back appointments the next day. However, upon arrival, Lu told us "no breakfast." she did not want to do breakfast anymore! I was not informed about this during my communication with Dan, and we were rather disappointed as we had to spend time dashing out the next morning looking for somewhere to eat. This aside, we still highly recommend this place which is clean, quiet and comfortable. The bonus also the fact you can park your car right outside your window!

This really is an idyllic spot. While attached to the owners house, it feels private. The barn itself is very tastefully done and was a larger space than I’d anticipated. The garden area with seating is pretty and our dog enjoyed herself exploring away. It’s off the beaten track in a very picturesque spot ideal for great walking. The owners (who we briefly met & who were helpful & polite) have been upfront about the state of the road leading to the property. In reality, it’s only the hill part of this which is ‘testy’ if you don’t have an SUV/4WD (& we don’t). We decided from day 2 to park the car in Houghton - if you come out of the property, turn right, it’s a 2 minute walk to Houghton. Very close to the start of this public path in Houghton on the main road is public off road parking for a couple of cars. This worked for us but obviously it’s public parking and you can’t guarantee a space & it’s at the owners risk. All in, we had a lovely couple of days - thank you!

A beautifully located and perfectly modernly furbished mini upstairs ‘cottage’ with an exceptional garden view. Rosie a consummate professional host, and for those fortunate enough, a splendid cook too. A perfect halfway staging post for any on the Clarendon Way walk from Winchester to Salisbury, or vice versa.

My family had a blast. The area was very scenic and close enough to be a short drive to a number of attractions on the coast. We went to Llulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The River Arms and the Fox Inn both had great food and had takeaway available. Roger was super nice and allowed our kids to feed their pigs, goats, and horses, which they loved!

Fantastic location. We crave peace and quiet and this location is superb. Ginny was very easy to deal with and met us on arrival. Superb host, fantastic location and room and beautiful breakfast laid on for us. Highly recommend and we will definitely return one day. Thank you Ginny for a wonderful stay.

Such an amazing place in a beautiful tranquil village location. Sally's place is so well equipped that you could live there. We used the local shop and pub at Sally's recommendation which were both great and would revisit the idea area again. Sally was quick to respond when I had to message her. We found Sally and Bob to be excellent hosts. Thank you to both.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay in. I would happily live there. Had absolutely everything you need and would easily suit a family stay as well. The place was lovely and clean and welcoming (a home from home). There was always hot water available and the bathroom is lovely and spacious. My friend even took their card so that she could recommend it to others. I live in the area and it is just a very short walk to a couple of local pubs and if you are looking for a getaway you are just a short drive from beaches or you have the forest. Cannot recommend it enough.

Perfect. Comfortable and Morden with everything you need. I took a 5 minute drive into West Bay which was stunning and has a long costal walk with some great places to eat. The bed was really comfortable and the place was private and cosy. I would definitely book to come here again if I’m in the area and would recommend it

Amaizing annexe. Kim's place is located in the quiet neighbourhood. In a walking distance to beautiful river Hamble and the local marina. It is specious, spotless and very well equipped. Decorated with a great taste. This lovely place is provided with everything you need even for a longer stay. It is conveniently placed close to Tesco extra and bus stop to Southampton and Portsmouth. Kim and Ian were very friendly and always happy to help. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely return. Kate&Robert

The space was just as we expected, everything you need was there, and very cleverly arranged too. Access to the outside space was lovely and a real bonus once our toddler had gone to bed. A great location for the beach and handy to have a parking space. Just what we needed and we wish we’d stayed a bit longer!

We echo all the reviews that have given Nel’s place 5 stars! We were on a tight schedule of visits around the country, but both agreed we’d would’ve happily stayed longer and just enjoyed the cosy accommodation and peaceful surroundings. We’re thinking of downsizing our family home and the design/layout of this delightful apartment gave us ideas for maximising a smaller space. Everything was spotless, the living room sofa and armchair were perfect for us, bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything needed and the whole place was light and airy. We had a lovely stay at Laura’a place, the bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed using the hot tub! Lovely and clean and had everything we need it, if we ever came to Bournemouth again we would definitely stay here again!

Wow, such a lovely location, very peaceful and the perfect place to relax and recharge. The Hayloft had everything we needed. The welcome hamper, fresh flowers, milk in the fridge and fresh eggs from their rescue chickens was so thoughtful. Lovely comfy bed and amazing views onto the horses in the fields. We would most definitely recommend. Thank you Rachael and family.

The property was beautiful, peaceful and quaint - exactly what we were after. Bobbie was on hand and made checking in super easy and she was a lovely and friendly host. Would recommend to anyone in need for a peaceful stay with a short drive to nearby attractions such as Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The house was well equipped for families and very comfortable and clean. There is plenty to do nearby and we had a lovely trips out to Wells and Bruton. Great communication from hosts. Thank you!

The perfect place! We were going to a wedding nearby and Mark gave us a lift there on Saturday morning, and helped us book a taxi for the way back. Jemma showed us round The Snug, complete with G&Ts, milk and snacks. She also booked us a table at the pub because, it being folk weekend, it was busy. Both Jemma and Mark couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was super comfy; we slept really well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed 2 nights, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The welcome brownies were yummy and the milk in the fridge was a life saver as we forgot to bring any! Looking to stay next year as we go to Dogstival and it was an easy drive to Burley. Lymington is a lovely dog friendly town with great cafes and pubs. Milford on Sea is good for a long walk along the beach with a view of the Isle of Wight and the Needles

Anda and Chris were the perfect hosts. They were supportive and reactive but also was aware of our privacy. Avenue nights was ideally placed to get into Southampton but in a beautiful position, secluded and peaceful, but with the city on the doorstep. It was tranquil and felt like a haven. The furnishings were well done and everything was very clean and tidy and comfortable. It was so helpful to have both kitchen and bathroom items supplied. The very best of AirBnB.

Fantastic property, just what we needed for the month. Clean and tidy, property very warm which was a godsend when you have ben outside all day. I would definitely come back again.
