Very friendly host and living close helps , gave us some tips for our walking etc , clean accommodation and just right for a few days break

Fantastic stay! The location is perfect, with an easy 10 min walk to everything we wanted to see/do. Restaurants & pubs are nearby, too. If we are visiting Portsmouth/IOW again, we’ll definitely stay here again, but choose a lower floor. The penthouse was a lot of stairs and coming in from Heathrow with five pieces of checked luggage was not ideal.

Great location which is at the end of harbour road and very peaceful. View is great and nature reserve is really pretty. All amenities were exactly as described. All the vintage games consoles et. Makes the place very unique and quirky. 1 minute walk to the beach which is also quite unique in the way it has been shaped by the sea. Shops 10 minutes walk. Pubs 20 minutes walk.

Fabulous flat; we loved all the art work as well as the comfortable bed. Great location for some fabulous walks. Thanks for all the information and proactive check-ins.

Great location close to the coastal path. Apartment was well equipped and spacious. Easy to access and the host was quick to respond.

Great Airbnb for attending a wedding up the road.

Pamela, is a great host met us at property and showed us around, lovely postion in Old Portsmouth close to all areas. We loved watching the shipping movements from the lounge, would use again if still available having use of the garage was great.

Lovely quirky studio flat. Fantastic location, walking distance to everything! It is free street parking, you may not find a space immediately outside the flat, but in short walking distance, you will be able to find a space. Love the seats with beautiful flowers and plants where you can sit outside at the front. Our dog loved the beach which is a stone throw from the studio flat!

What a fantastic find, so close to the sea, pub locally for food and a fish and chip van too. The accommodation was spotless and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We had a wonderful few days thanks and hope we’ll be back again soon.

Alf, was amazing always on hand to answerquestionsbefore& after booking, very responsive to messages. The apartment was perfect, clean, felt like home & had everything we needed. Alf kindly left a fabulous welcome pack of food & drinks. We travelled to see family and the accommodation was just what we needed. Would highly recommend Coombe Cottage. This is a great flat, large, quiet, in a beautiful setting, and only about 30 seconds' walk from the cafe in the cloisters at the cathedral, where we went for breakfast. We would love to come back.

Ellis's apartment was clean and comfortable. The off-road parking was a useful bonus. The area was quiet, yet close to bars and restaurants. The information pack was helpful.

The Coach Barn is small but perfectly formed! We stayed there while visiting family in the area, and enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The place was spotless, and had everything you might need. With four of us staying, the sofa bed was pre-made up when we arrived (avoiding a post-travel argument with the other half about how to get the bed out!). It was very warm, but as an upstairs flat in a mini heatwave, that was expected! We flung all the windows open, and the gated rural location allowed us some security to have them open all night for ventilation. It's a great little place, and we would be happy to visit again.

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting our son - good location (for us) and close to the beach. Parking was readily available outside the flat (permits supplied). Bed was very comfortable. WiFi worked well.

We had a lovely stay at the studio, the place is lovely, it is in a great location, within walking distance from everything. It is equipped with the basics which you need for your stay. Just to note the studio states it is adjoined to the owners home, which is not a problem, but the studio is actually under the owners home, so some noise can be heard from above.

The staff were very friendly and always responded to my questions promptly. The entire place was clean and comfortable. This was my first stop in the UK, and it truly felt like home. I really loved staying here!

The apartment was easy to get, just focus on spotting the light blue gate 😁. The house was cozy, clean and private. I will definitely book again.

The host and his family are all nice helpful people. The area is also nice with shops nearby. Maybe just check with the host about parking, becquse we were not sure where we can park. Nice stay.

Our host was very welcoming. She enabled us to make full uninhibited use of the facilities in her home. She paid attention to our potential needs and adapted to them in a considerate manner. Access to garden space and having a room facing it were beneficial, making the stay quiet. The parking space was a bonus and particularly important for us. We are familiar with the location; it proved to be better than we had anticipated. Local amenities were close by.

Really enjoyed my 2 week stay , clean, comfortable and within walking distance of all amenities, bars,restaurants and shops . Would definitely stay again .

Was definitely the ‘Place to be’! Comfortable room in a central area of Southsea (Portsmouth) . 10 mins walk to the seafront and D-day museum and 15 mins walk Fratton train station. Close to supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Thank you so much for been so accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Southsea and would love to stay again!!

What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay - within walking distance of Historic Shipyard. Very clean. Exactly as per photos. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. Would have been helpful to have some instructions on how heating worked but did not detract from stay.
