100 year old log cabin

A 100-year-old newly-built log sauna cottage in the tranquility of the countryside. A good night's sleep guarantees a futon mattress and the possibility of a sauna in the heat of the wood stove from the landscape window to the lake, in the summer you swim in a clean water lake, in the winter you dip into a refreshing opening. You wash on a traditional pot with heated water. Needs are made in an outhouse. There's no rush here, the rest of the world is forgotten. Yet only a half hour drive from the services of the city.

Alapihan Arboretumin vierasmaja ja sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild wooden park. There are about 250 different species of wooded trees and shrubs in a two-acre area. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in natural space and renovation is being made in the area. For those interested, the arboretum is happy to be presented during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 9 hens. Breakfast on-demand

Well equipment house, large terraces, lakeside sauna and jaguzzi (for extra fee). Modern kitchen, diningspace, livingroom, 2bedrooms, sleeping loft for 2, bathroom.

New sauna room by the lake

Welcome to relax in the sauna room in our yard, by the lake! Although a small, stylish sauna is part of our inhabited courtyard, you will find peace, nature, privacy and wonderful scenery here. The place is also great for working remotely! Lahti beach is shallow and great for children. Rowing boat in use. Additional fee of 70€ for use of the hot tub. Bring your own linens and towels. However, in an exceptional situation, linens can be arranged from the place to stay with a separate fee.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Laituri uimaportailla, pieni hiekkaranta, soutuvene, pelastusliivit, ulko-wc, pysäköintialue, pihavalot tunnistimilla, nuotiopaikka, kaasugrilli ja grillikota. Keittiössä on erillisuuni, keraaminen liesitaso, mikro, liesituuletin, jääkaappi/pakastin ja led valot. Juomavesi tuodaan valmiiksi mökille. Terassilta käynti paljuun. Palju on varattavissa erikseen. Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Grandma's Cottage with Sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with comforts of year-round living in the yard of the main house. For multi-night guests during the heating season, in addition to electricity, furnace heating. Trees ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. About 10 minutes to Outokumpu and 30 minutes to Joensuu. Koli about an hour and Valamo Monastery about 30 minutes by car. There's also a dog cage outside with a small coop.
