The stay is incredibly cozy. A great balcony with a great view, making you feel right at home. The house was extremely clean, and the contact with Petra was very good. She is very sweet and helpful, and was always there for you. Furthermore, the village is a minute away, from which you can walk many beautiful hiking trails. The cottage has a lot of privacy, and was very easy to find. So definitely recommended!

The WALDLIEBE cottage is an absolute favorite place... sitting together on the terrace, grilling in the completely fenced natural garden, watching fire by the fireplace, taking a breath or actively hiking, cycling or skiing. Everything you need for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is there! The lovingly designed 120 square meters offer lots of space (max. 6 people) for a relaxing holiday, also with dog (max. 2). The big treasure of the house is the conservatory with fireplace.

The area is very popular for its great hiking trails (e.g. Habichtswaldsteig) and its juniper vegetation along the limestone grassland areas.

We stayed at the beginning of October with 5 people in both apartments that are not connected. Everyone had their own bedroom. The large hunting room, with fireplace, is very cozy. There are many old hunting trophies on the walls. Both apartments are heated with a pellet stove, which is located in the lower apartment. In addition, there are a few small electric stoves that we didn't need. There is no bakery on site, you have to get the breakfast rolls by car.

Our stay was just great! We had a relaxing and sociable time in a beautiful setting. We were particularly impressed by the architecture of the house, especially the panoramic windows – a real highlight! The views are breathtaking and invite you to linger. Another highlight was our hike to Siggi's cabin – a really nice tour that we can recommend to everyone. All in all a perfect stay that we would love to repeat!
