The nearest store is a 10-minute walk from the cabin. About 1 and a half hour drive from the Preikestolen. Egersund city is about a ten-minute drive away.

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

It is located off a dead end road, about 100m from Eigelandsvatnet, where it shares a jetty with two other cabins. It comes with a rowing boat, a canoe and a pedalo, as well as fishing equipment on request, to catch some of the copious trout. The property borders on Notlandsvatnet recreational area, and is part of Magma Geopark and Opplev Dalane hiking trail.
