Es wurde kürzlich komplett renoviert und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist der ideale Rückzugsort für alle, die abschalten, entspannen und mal für sich sein wollen.

In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Die gemütliche Wohnung in der 1. Etage bietet auf 60 qm ein helles Wohnzimmer mit Schlafsofa, ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und Kinderbettchen sowie eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein modernes Bad. Ein Stellplatz für Ihren Pkw und eine Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

The apartment has 5 rooms (3 DB, 8 EB) and a Mongolian yurt (1DB, 2EB), two bathrooms with five showers, three toilets, a bathtub, an outdoor pool, a sauna, a huge living room (70 sqm) and a glass kitchen (65 sqm). Everything is newly built and designed. If you want to enjoy peaceful and relaxing days with family, families or a group, you're in the right place.

We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

Rittershof – Himmelsboden

The Rittershof is located in the beautiful Wendland in Lower Saxony amidst the most beautiful nature - fields, forests, meadows. In the immediate vicinity is the Reiterhof Seelwig. On the Rittershof a beautiful old pigsty has been converted into apartments - in high quality and equipped with a lot of love. In the middle of the quiet countryside between Lindow and Rheinsberg lies the listed former school estate in a small village. The simple but tastefully converted barn is a nice place to relax. The garden borders the field behind it. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. In the vicinity, interesting places can be explored. There are swimming lakes and tranquil places in nature. Cranes fly over the roof in autumn.

Your accommodation in the completely renovated, former barn, which we have comfortably prepared, invites you to linger. There is space for couples or singles. Spices, oil, coffee & tea, as well as towels & bed linen are provided. Shopping is within walking distance.

The apartment is located in a 100-year-old barn of an idyllic village of 26 inhabitants surrounded by (almost) unspoiled nature on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. It's an area without superlatives. Everything is very normal without major attractions. But this is exactly what we really appreciate about this area. Lots of nature, wide views and little distraction. It is a place where you can come to rest and draw strength.
