Farmstay holiday rentals in Elbe

We spent our honeymoon in the construction trailer and found exactly what we expected: a cozy, clean nest designed with a lot of love, an incomparable proximity to nature and a lot of peace and privacy. The hosts were always approachable and inquired about our satisfaction several times. The sauna was easy to use and quickly muggy warm - a dream to be able to put your legs up between the sauna sessions in the garden with the sheep. The economic kitchen has everything you need (although we actually had everything for meals directly in the garden anyway), there is a fridge with drinks, juice from your own farm and eggs from the neighbors at fair prices. The area is very quiet, but historically also very exciting and in combination with bike and the ferry within walking distance, everything is easily accessible. Our highlight: The small almost private Elbe beach directly opposite the house 💗

We had only checked in for one night to celebrate a birthday. Slightly different than expected from the photo of the house, the house is located in the village and on the left and right are more houses. Behind the house is the old farm, with chickens , rabbit goats and a pretty aviary. In the summer you can also stay in the garden and eat outside at tables with benches. For an outdoor coffee, the weather was just as good. We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt at home. Petra is a very nice hostess. Arrival and departure were handled very accommodating, even the day before us was blocked to allow an earlier arrival. There was even a delicious birthday cake from Petra. There were also tips for things to do. The Heiligengrabe monastery is very worthwhile. Wittstock is also worth a visit. However, we could not explore much more in the short time. It was a very nice short stay.

Super nice, relaxed area great with dog and centrally located in the Wendland, everything is easy to reach by car. Super friendly and easy communication.

We were guests of Birgit & Frank for 4 days during the German Gymnastics Festival in Leipzig. We were very nicely received and provided with many good tips about our stay (transport connections, Park & Ride, etc.) The apartment is small but nice and equipped with everything you need for a short vacation. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the wonderful time and all the best for you 🫶🏼

If you want to switch off in nature and yet want to be in a city relatively quickly if necessary, then you are in good hands here. We had perfect weather and went on beautiful excursions.

We had a super relaxed long weekend. The house is beautifully restored and the remote location is exactly what we were looking for. Christian and his family were also on site and are very friendly and communicative people. Thank you for the wonderful time at your placle.

Our short break with Rainer and his family was very pleasant! We felt welcome. The yard is lovingly maintained, we were able to move freely on the entire area. The apartment is really big and well equipped, even for our little daughter (11M) everything was there. We felt comfortable and would be happy to come back!

We were looking for a short break from city life and that is exactly what we got: picturesque nature in the area, wide fields, a beautiful old estate on which the apartment is in the back, absolute silence at night, relaxing peace and quiet during the day. Henrike is a great and very nice host and also the rest of her family is very nice and helpful. We and our dog felt very much at home. We will be happy to come back!

Anja is a great hostess with a big heart. We felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed from the first second. It's great to talk to her about God and the world. The accommodation is lovingly and very cozily furnished. There is nothing missing and it is very well maintained. It is a wonderful place to relax and recharge your batteries and warm up. The animals are enchanting and totally cuddly. We had great fun walking with the mini-Shettys, cuddling with the donkeys and dogs and watching the pigs and chickens. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything ❤️

Our weekend in the Old Elbschifferhaus was pure relaxation. We felt at home from the first moment. The house is stylishly furnished and equipped with everything you need. Mechthild and Rainer have prepared everything wonderfully for us as a family and the garden directly on the Elbe dike is a dream for young and old. We will be happy to come back! <3

There were four of us in the accommodation and we spent an extended weekend there. We enjoyed the view of the countryside and the tranquility very much. The accommodation is really well equipped and Alice was quick to reach, uncomplicated and accommodating. The accommodation is highly recommended, we would go back at any time!!

My girlfriend and I immediately felt at home. The shepherd's wagon was equipped with everything important. We also liked the attention to detail. We really liked the atmosphere with the farm animals, especially the running ducks. We could definitely tell that this was not a one-time visit. Thank you so much for these beautiful two nights. An absolute insider tip! The place is beautiful and very tastefully decorated – with a lot of attention to detail. The sauna was a special highlight. But also the fire bowl in the evening or the spontaneously built trampoline that our son could use. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be: in the middle of nowhere, with great running and hiking trails right outside the door. Joanna and Andreas are fantastic hosts – available at all times, incredibly helpful and just adorable. Her two dogs also made our stay even more beautiful. We will be happy to come back! Interesting accommodation, beautiful place with sunrise and sunset, overlooking horses.

An absolute gem in size, we lacked nothing and we all had imaginable amenities inside as well as outside in abundance! :) In the fully equipped kitchen we were able to take care of ourselves completely! In the beds, thanks to the very good mattresses, we slept like princes & princesses :) Evening there is red deer to watch in the field opposite and tomorrows, at breakfast in the beautiful garden, we are greeted by cranes, a dream. The house is very cozy and stylishly decorated, my favorite was the conservatory, with its oversized sofa that invites you to dream, wander into the distance and devour a good book:) Christian and Elisabeth provided us with 2 bicycles, with which we could make 2 nice excursions. We stayed a few days over Easter with the extended family and just had a fantastic time!

We had a wonderful time at the alpaca farm! The accommodation is great for families, especially for children a real highlight. The alpacas, but also the other animals on the farm, make the stay a very special experience. The hosts are extremely friendly and take a lot of time to show the grounds and give interesting insights into everyday life on the farm. You can see how much love and dedication is put into the work here. The accommodation itself was clean, well equipped and cozy. Thank you for the hospitality!

Very cozy 'cabin in the woods', it was amazing staying there.

A great house, a quiet location. Perfect for up to 10 guests. The space is there. The check-in worked wonderfully, the communication from the host was fast and reliable. He makes a friendly impression. The house really has everything you need. The garden is huge and everything is very well maintained. We can't wait for the next visit.

Cathrin is a great host. Very responsive and ready to help. Her place is very nice. And the garden is breathtaking. I would describe it as a two bedroom apartment with a nice beautiful loft that can function as a third bedroom. The space that is listed as a third bedroom is a couch in the kitchen area. If you are traveling with little kids this might function well for you but we were three adults and everyone needed some privacy. We solved the problem by using the beautiful loft area as a third bedroom and all was good. Overall, good experience.

La Casita - little house very big! We enjoyed the 3 days and 2 nights to the fullest, we lacked nothing! Susanne was a great host. Everything was as described. Sweet as a starting point for tours to the region was ideal for us. Eisenach is close and was worth the trip anyway.

Very pleasant experience. The house and garden are very carefully arranged. Perfect for sharing meals both indoors and outdoors. The host Robert was also very courteous and willingly answered all our questions, even those we had not yet asked. I recommend this accommodation and would gladly come back!
