The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Das Waldhaus steht inmitten eines naturbelassenen Waldgrundstücks, mit vielen besonderen Highlights, wie der Grill- und Saunakota.

Willkommen in unserem Häuschen am Elbdeich! Unser Wohnhaus und das freistehende Gästehaus sind im Jahr 2021 gebaut worden. Das Gästehaus ist sehr gemütlich und stilvoll mit vielen Details, wie Möbel, Fenster etc., die in Einzelanfertigungen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail designed und gebaut worden sind. Wer Ruhe und Erholung in einem stilvoll eingerichteten Ambiente sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Der Elbe-Radweg und Elbdeich sind ca. 200 m von uns entfernt.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
