Holiday rentals with lake access in Elliot Lake

Beautiful place in gorgeous surroundings. Rohit was a fantastic host and he really made sure the place has anything you might need during your stay. In addition to being tastefully decorated, it was also functional: the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was made for cooking with many great appliances. Plus there is so much to do! Tons of board games, a sauna, steam shower, a pool table… you won’t be bored. The instructions and rules seemed a bit overwhelming at first but were really simple and easy once we were there. It appears some past guests may not have been very respectful of the property so that’s why these were so extensive and comprehensive. Don’t let this detract you from staying here. The key rules are even posted in the home in relevant areas so you won’t forget. We just got back from a November long weekend and it was a beautiful winter wonderland by the time we left. I’d love to see it in summer too. It seems like a great place to visit year round.

I highly recommend this amazing house right on the banks of Bright Lake. I have zero complaints and we will be returning! Nicole was very accommodating and couldn't ask for a better host. If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful house on the lake trust me you wont be disappointed if you stay at the Rocky Retreat!

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

We had a wonderful stay. Wilda could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The apartment was really comfortable and we had everything we needed and more! So many options for breakfast food we were spoilt for choice. We did not want to leave and would love to return.

This air bnb was so amazing I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s super clean which is such a plus when staying in an air bnb. They also thought of all the little details. There was sunscreen in the bathrooms, bug spray in the living room, extra chairs, wood and kindling by the fire pit. Don’t even get me started on the location. Absolutely gorgeous. The views are amazing and the water is so nice. If you’re able to, get the loft. It’s beautiful and has another bathroom and full kitchen. If you’re thinking if you should stay here, you should. It’s worth the drive up north questions asked. Thank you for having us!

Wonderful stay and delightful host!

Rene and Sandra were great hosts. They accommodated us very well with lots of parking for our trucks and trailers and access to the lake for fishing. They went above and beyond on our check out date which helped us out greatly. They always responded very quickly and check in was a breeze. Beautiful views as well. Would recommend to anybody.

Ardissa was an extremely gracious host. She even lent me after-sun when I had a bad sunburn! The bed, room, and house are all cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was clean and fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils for all our cooking needs. The house and local area is extremely peaceful. We had fun walking down the trail on the property, going to the semi-private beach, and even just walking down the road and seeing all sorts of flora & fauna. The nearby town of Kagawong is a sweet town on the water with a great chocolate shop and weekly market. We had an excellent time overall. I would highly recommend staying at Ardissa’s if you are considering travelling to Manitoulin.

We had the most amazing time at the cottage. Tons of space for all our family , ages ranging from 1 to seniors. The beautiful layout and amenities were to die for! We all loved the common spaces for games, relaxing, cooking and dining. Days were mostly spent on the dock enjoying the beautiful water, SUP’s, canoes, fishing and snorkelling. The fire pit with sunset views was also incredible. Definitely an amazing experience and we plan on going again next year!

Our time at Brennan’s Harbour RV resort was just what my husband and I needed to recharge. The model mobile home pictures match exactly to what you see when you arrive. Berndy was fast and efficient at answering questions and showing us around the cottage. There were small delights waiting inside like homemade loaf for breakfast!! Our fire pit was private and wood was supplied, as well as fire starters. Appliances inside are clean and modern. There is a large deck which is partially covered to enjoy the rain while being protected. We truly enjoyed our time away up North and cannot wait for you to enjoy Brennan’s Harbour RV resort as much as we did!!! 10/10!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Richard's cottage near Kagawong. It is a large, open space with lots of seating, beds and amenities. The home has been beautifully renovated with lots of great art and furnishings. Although the weather wasnt great during our stay, we still enjoyed the beach, which is easily accessible. There are plenty of heating and cooling options to customize the temp in bedrooms and common spaces. Richard ensured there were plenty of supplies so it was easy to cook and stay in his beautiful home, even with young children. The cottage is about 15 minutes to Kagawong in a quiet neighbourhood. Honestly, the pictures don't do the view justice. We hope to be back soon!!

This was our 2nd year staying at Lauzon East Cottages and like last year it was a great stay. Jeremy was very responsive, friendly and welcoming. Look forward to returning!

Great cottage, one of the best cottages in Northern Ontario that I have stayed. Other campers in the park were very friendly and helpful. They would give us rides up the hill in thier golf carts. Bruce, was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage.

Awesome cottage at a great location. Joe, Julie and Jeff were the perfect host providing helpful information about the cottage. They also have a ton of water activity equipment to use in great shape. And yes, the view of the lake from the cottage makes it all the more beautiful. Our family had a lot of fun, and we would highly recommend Joe,Julie and Jeff’s cottage for anyone seeking a place to wind down and/or splash up the lake.
