The apartment is on the first floor of a small house with a quiet cul-de-sac location between the old village church, a Gulfhof and only 4 minutes' walk to the harbor and the ferry to Ditzum. Enjoy the wide view from the dike to the Ems estuary and the Dollart. Fresh sea air included. An ideal starting point for your excursions to the islands, Ditzum, the Krumhörn as well as the East Frisian cities of Emden, Leer and Aurich.

Our vacation home is located in the old village center of Petkum, close to the ferry terminal to Ditzum. From here you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia on both sides of the Ems - whether on foot or by bike or while fishing on one of the many canals (with guest card) or while watching the wild geese. Culturally, Emden also has plenty to offer (art gallery, state museum, ...).

The Old Painter‘s House, Ferienhaus am Wasser

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit großem Garten in direkter Wasserlage am Kanal mit traumhaften Blick in die ostfriesische Landschaft. Das Haus wurde umfassend saniert und renoviert. Wichtig war uns dabei, den ursprünglichen Charakter beizubehalten und diesen mit heutigem Wohnkomfort zu verbinden. Regionalität, Nachhaltigkeit und Individualität waren unser Kompass. Am Rande des historischen Dorfkerns in ruhiger Lage, nur einen Katzensprung zum Deich, zum Hafen und zur Fähre nach Ditzum.

Apartment "Krebs" in Emder Innenstadt

Gerne auch Handwerker/Monteure! Das alte Haus und somit auch die 3 Wohnungen wurden komplett kernsaniert /renoviert und sind im Jahr 2025 fertig für die Vermietung geworden. Das Haus Wattwurm liegt in bester Emder Innenstadtlage und somit ist man schnell am Delft/Hafen und den umliegenden Geschäften. Neben dem Haus ist ein großer Parkplatz (Kostenpflichtig) Die Wohnungen wurden in einem gemütlichen Stil eingerichtet und sind Kinderfreundlich. 😊

The apartment is a good starting point for beautiful walks by the water, picturesque sunsets on the North Sea, bike or car tours through the historic wharf villages of the Krummhörn or even just a relaxed stroll through the nearby Emder city center.

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Ein komfortables Boxspringbett, sowie eine gut ausgestattete Küche gehören ebenso wie ein südwestlich gelegener Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit dazu. Bettwäsche und Handtücher können dazu gebucht werden. Nur wenige Gehminuten von der Innenstadt entfernt. Ein Hinterhof für Fahrräder ist vorhanden.

It has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom and a large covered balcony. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room, so up to six people can stay in the flat. A baby cot and a high chair are available on request. You are welcome to bring your dog with you.
