Nestling on the shores of the Beauly Firth only 10 miles from the city of Inverness, close to the NC500, Killearnan Brae is a luxury self-contained apartment. Walking from the house you will find Killearnan Church and the Medieval Redcastle both rich in Scottish History. The picturesque village of Beauly is a 5 min drive. Dunaincroy farmhouse enjoys a unique setting on the Caledonian Canal midway between iconic Loch Ness and the town of Inverness (6 minutes either way.) Set in an historic Highland estate this secluded location has extensive, fully fenced gardens down to the canal and spectacular views to open countryside and the hills beyond. The wilderness of the highlands and yet only minutes from the amenities of a major town and nearby transport hubs. It is also a great starting point for the North 500.

The Courtyard, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Lord Lovat’s Waiting Room

A charming self contained cottage style apartment in what was formerly Lord Lovat’s private waiting room in the Old Station, Beauly. With its own front door, large double bedroom and sitting room (with wood burning stove) it is an ideal retreat for a quiet weekend or for a couple wanting to explore the Highlands. Its bathroom has a lovely shower, small kitchen with two ring hob, conventional oven and microwave. Just a few minutes walk from the village it sits on the Highland Rail line.

Forester's Bothy, cosy studio.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. The hosts live next door, but the studio has its own private garden area and plenty of parking. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.

The WEE Cottage is a traditional stone cottage for two in the centre of our lovely, bustling village of Drumnadrochit. With Restaurants & shops nearby, private off road parking and wifi available and a small enclosed grassed area, this comfortable cottage, made cosy with its wood burning stove (& full central heating) is an ideal base to explore Loch Ness and the wider area. We happily accept a dog here at no extra charge.
