Monthly Rentals in Eriskay

Had a lovely one night whilst on Hebridean Way. Shop nearby was handy. Lovely walk down to round houses ruins. Next day went on to kildonian museum which was v interesting. Walking on the Machair way was lovely though wouldn't recommend for bikes (unless mountain biking)

A wonderful find in a stunning area, you need to travel few miles on a track road , but it worth it. The accommodation had everything all very clean, the only downside for us was the height of the bed getting in and out. It’s cosy great views and we both enjoyed it.

The Boathouse was a total gem, we loved staying there, everything to hand, lots of thoughtful touches which made it feel very homely. Great situation for getting around, we covered all of Uist, Eriskay, Barra, Vatersay and Benecula during our stay. The beaches were stunning! Amanda is a great host and is there if you need her but left us alone too, which we appreciated.

The pod was well equipped and its layout made it feel quite spacious. It wasn’t necessary to turn on the heating despite the chill weather as the pod was warm and cosy inside. We especially liked the sitting area on the decking - the midges can be a pest - maybe a citronella candle might help - but the wonderful view including a beautiful sunset and an accompanying sound of corncrakes made it very special! Michelle was a great host and we appreciated the milk and pancakes she left for us. We would highly recommend this pod as a comfortable base for exploring the amazing island of Barra
