Boat holiday rentals in Europe

Let yourself be lulled by the enchanting calm of the sea air. Small, well-ordered, cozy space. Of course, you have to move a little on the pontoon to access the toilets (always clean and accessible only to sailors) or go to the captaincy to shower, but it is a choice and it is done very well. I slept really well.

We had a very nice stay with our son. It was a great experience. Sylvie is very welcoming and full of good advice. Very soon.

We were kindly received and given good explanations about the boat. It was neat and overwhelmingly decorated. You could sit on the front and back deck and we enjoyed the sunset. Staying on a boat has its charm and we enjoyed it. Thank you Laurens and Pedro for this special experience.

We only spent one night but wish it could have been more, our toddler fell in love with living on a boat! It was super cozy and was perfect for what we needed. Véronique was very responsive and helpful, we would love to stay again next time we pass through Reims.

We had a lovely time staying on the boat. Sharon was really helpful from start to finish. Everything was set up for our stay and we had a great time. This trip was myself, my brother, and my Dad, so two of us used the bedrooms and one of us slept on the sofa bed in the living room. There were ample blankets, cushions, and pillows for all three beds. The amount of space on the boat was great for us. I think three single people was the right amount for the boat, or four people if they were both couples. We entertained ourselves with food and drink on the picnic bench above the deck, and watching TV below deck. There was a strong WiFi signal and the streaming services on TV worked fine. Being on the Trent meant it was easy to go for a walk. We must have covered 8 miles on Saturday, along the River and into a couple of villages. All in all, we had a great time and would love to stay again on the future.

A stay that did us good. Exotic. The stress of everyday life has been left in the parking lot! Thank you to Gilles for his welcome and the boat trip.

We stayed for just one night. Ivan is a super friendly host. It was nice and quiet to sleep on the boat. We wish we would have booked some extra nights.

Just returned from wonderful eight nights on Nicola’s boat. We spent two nights each in Amalfi, Capri, Katera, and Castellammare di Stabia. The last place (home port) due to weather and niece’s delay. Nicola planned itinerary after we provided some basic input. Nicola does a lot more than just take you safely from port to port on his spotless boat. He shares his extensive knowledge of Italian history and the Amalfi coast while viewing towns/ancient ruins from the boat. He also recommends top sights and restaurants in each port—several of which don’t show up in any guide books. All were top notch and usually less crowded than the “name” places. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to be in big name ports like Amalfi and Capri after the last ferry left at the end of each day. You can really appreciate the difference without the hordes of people. We felt so fortunate that we could go back to the boat, watch the sunset and go out to dinner. Best trip ever—Book it!!!

Everything is perfect, the accommodation is as you see it in the photos and the managers are very kind, friendly and available for anything. Very close to the accommodation there is everything you need (parking, food, restaurants). I recommend it!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay aboard this charming boat. It was cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, with clear instructions for things like the drawers, cabinets, and even the restroom faucet—which made everything easy to use. The boat was also well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fan, blankets, towels, dishes, utensils, a hot water heater, microwave, and hot plate. Ivo was incredibly responsive and flexible, making scheduling easy and promptly answering any questions we had. We were warmly welcomed by his wife Jenny at check-in, who gave us a detailed overview of both the boat and the marina. The marina itself, located in Parque das Nações in Lisbon, was a highlight—with beautiful walking paths, public art, scenic views, trails, a nearby supermarket, and great restaurants. A unique and memorable stay—we highly recommend it!

perfect. get away ,parking ,an easy walk to Cartagena and amazing place to stay . Spotlessly clean ,well equipped,beautiful and unusual with a lovely welcome fridge of soft drinks and Cava . we had so much fun sitting on deck and relaxing .

I had not sailed for many years so our break with Nello was an amazing way to get back into sailing. we had 4 days of amazing sailing including Amalfi, Capri, Positano and Sorrento. I would definitely recommend this type of break. Nello was very knowledgeable, experienced and a good host, giving us time to ourselves whilst also looking after us. thank you for some amazing memories, Doug and Jane

I enjoy staying in places with a character and Rhubarb and Custard definitely has it. What a little gem it is! My daughters loved it and said it had 'Paddington in Peru" vibe. It is compact, but has everything you might need to have a comfortable stay. Having the sea on the doorstep and access to beach gear is a big plus too, especially in summer. Elise is a wonderful and friendly host and would always promptly reply to messages. I will definitely recommend Rhubarb and Custard to friends looking for a special getaway.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and both times have been brilliant, Steve is friendly and showed us around at check in and said he would be around if we needed anything. The Marina and yacht are amazing, especially in a sunny day with loads to do nearby. Would recommend this for sure!

We spent an unforgettable night on this magnificent sailboat in Corsica. The welcome was very warm: our hosts were lovely, very available and full of attention. The meal on board was delicious and the setting simply exceptional. The sailboat is very well maintained, comfortable, and the atmosphere on board was peaceful and friendly. Thank you so much for this beautiful parenthesis! We recommend this experience without hesitation.

Can highly recommend staying here. So nice to return to after a busy day sightseeing in Amsterdam. Near bus stop, 10 mins walk away, takes you straight to Amsterdam Central station. Get off at bus stop before station if you do not need metro, we walked everywhere. We used credit card each for bus, swipe on and then swipe as you get off, about 7 euro return. The Johanna is just a joy to be on, comfortable and clean with stunning views. Everything that you need and more is supplied. Sandra and her partner are a joy to deal with, checking in with us to ensure all was ok.

Our sailing weekend with Captain Enrico was absolutely outstanding—easily five stars. He is not only an expert navigator but also a gracious host with deep roots in the region. His knowledge of the Amalfi Coast is exceptional, and he gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, travel logistics, and hidden gems along the way. Enrico tailored the itinerary to exactly what we wanted—whether relaxing on deck or swimming in secluded spots. Everything felt seamless and personalized. He also served incredible homemade Italian dishes on board, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Our group of ten friends was perfectly accommodated, and we all agreed it was the highlight of our trip. If you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast, sailing with Enrico is an absolute must.

Our grandchildren and ourselves loved the boat 🤩It was such a fun experience! Well equipped and comfortable, it is located in a peaceful, close to nature marina where we could watch ducks and birds on the water. It is quick and easy to travel to the centre of Amsterdam. Gros is the welcoming and responsive host. He explained very clearly everything related to the everyday use on the boat and had left delicious wine and biscuits to welcome us 👍 We would recommend this unusual and lovely accommodation without any doubt.

Lovely and quite very tranquil place spacious clean had everything we needed .lovely cafe on site with great food well stocked shop in village good pub food This was something different staying on a boat I can’t recommend it enough . Definitely would stay there again

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

We loved the canal boat. Very cute and cosy. Easily walkable to main areas. Lisa and Sam were great hosts and very flexible. Lisa told us of a local festival during our stay which we may have missed otherwise and which was fabulous. Highly recommended :)
