Spectacular farmhouse. All the spaces were comfortable, from the bedrooms to the living room and kitchen, as well as the leisure space outside the home. Super tidy, with incredible views to the banks of the Douro River. Good living areas to enjoy with family or friends. We're always helpful and communicating about any questions about nearby restaurants. Quinta de Conquito with bread and fresh cakes first thing in the morning, as the pastry goes to the farm to deliver.

We had a great family stay with three teenagers and 2 couples. The ranch is a very beautiful accommodation, where you can feel that every detail has been thought out to respect the theme and the unusual character of the place. The environment is peaceful and, although there are other cottages on the site, the ranch is very well insulated. The equipment of the cottage complex is exceptional and all the equipment is made available at no extra cost, which is very appreciable. The accommodation is in the middle of nature so there are insects, leaves... Like camping! But the cleaning is done optimally, the laundry is impeccable. We had good weather and were able to make the most of the outdoors. In this regard, 2 points can be improved: meter available for deckchairs to be able to sit more comfortably than at the table, and add outdoor lights because at night it is a little dark. Small point + we were not bothered by mosquitoes!

A great time at Nick's ranch. A warm welcome, by a whole person and very kind. We've learned a lot from him. And what a scenery!!! What about these breathtaking scenery. The nights so peaceful in this peaceful retreat. What a joy for girls to see the mares frolic at the foot of the bungalow as soon as they wake up. We had two magical nights. The horse ride was the cherry on the cake. Thanks again to Nick and her family for their kindness. A beautiful meeting like no longer exists. Go there without a second thought, you'll be amazed.

Amazing experience, “immersion” is really the right word. Nick welcomes us to his home, in his world, and it is clear that it is not a decor but a real farm, a real ranch. For children, it's obviously great and even for toddlers: the horseback riding christening in far-west is a must, but even outside, the proximity of animals and the tranquility of the place allows children to evolve independently. Nick is accessible, available, binder. The comfort of the bungalows is a little limited, but if you know, you get used to it! The landscape, finally, is crazy. In short, a total change of scenery (not including the resources of the area).

This place is a gem, surrounded by trees, and Cheila and her family are very welcoming and open. I enjoyed walking the farm and getting to know the animals, the wonderful breakfast, the cozy fireplace, and the amazing sauna. The sunroom is fantastic to enjoy the views, have breakfast, read, or do yoga. This is a perfect place to unwind from modern life with all the comforts. Great location overall, quiet but close to civilization. I hiked around Sao Torcato (nice river and waterfalls), got to experience the local farmers market and street fair on saturday morning, and then drove just 15m to Guimaraes for dinner and a modern dance performance. I have to say that, as a curly-haired girl, having a blowdryer with a diffuser was the cherry on top!

We booked late at night . Drove lost , so we were 2 hours delayed. Came in the middle of the night . Åsa had contact with us and stayed up , met us despite the late time . Very old house that she has kept as they always looked . Felt like when you were on study visits to school and had to go into old houses to see how they lived before , without electricity and water 😊 The most comfortable bed in the world! The outhouse was fresher than they are at many eateries. Very different and charming ! Super good for one night and you got to feel a little how they used to understand that we (not all) are very spoiled with a lot today!

TOP from front to back 👍👍👍 We had a really great stay. The communication with Sonja was extremely pleasant all the time as you wish, also personally on site. The apartment is very cozy, quiet and spacious, we immediately felt extremely comfortable. Everything was very well maintained, clean and in perfect condition. The amenities were exceptional and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we were only there for the weekend, but will definitely come back with more time. A great place to celebrate a birthday with friends, there are many entertainments for both children and adults on the territory. We will definitely keep in mind that not far from Riga there is such a cool location at a great price.

We spent an amazing 3 weeks here. It was truly a beautiful place. Very quiet and relaxing. We swam in the lake, visited the local markets (kindly recommended by Romain and his parents), walked in the surrounding woods. There was enough space for us all - 2 adults and 2 older kids and a dog. Romain and his parents were really helpful and answered any questions. We felt restored and recharged when we left. This is a really magical place.

We highly recommend this beautiful place in a peaceful environment. The road is narrow and unpaved, so drive carefully. Also bring your own supplies of food and snacks because there are no shops close by. We knew all this, so no problem at all. The cottage is cozy and clean, the beds are comfortable and the views are amazing. Our kids loved playing in the big garden and watch the sheep being brought in in the evenings. The hosts are wonderful and did everything to give us an unforgettable time!

It’s a true paradise. A gorgeous place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Very authentic! Vladimir and his family also cook amazingly well. And there’s even a lovely bar right in the old barn. I sincerely recommend this home!

We had a weekend with friends to get closer to Ogliss Park. The listing is as described and as pictured! Great hosts, very welcoming, attentive and very responsive. Breakfast is quite generous, it was very nice. 😊 A great jacuzzi, excellent. 👌 Don't hesitate, it's great!

Had a magical accommodation in the prerie car at Basnes in Aurskog-Høland 😍 The Prerie Wagon stood with the most stunning view down by the water. With evening sun, morning sun and panoramic sea views. Stayed with a morning bath on a nice sandy beach. We also had a real cowboy experience with Basnes trail rides in the forests and fields, and not least in the water with the horses🤠🐴 Otherwise, just enjoy the peace and quiet of this gem of a place. With horse and water as a view. Good and fresh air in the wagon, not disgusting. Reccommended highly🙌 We'll be back, thank you🌸

What a wonderful stay! Marco was super friendly and helpful, and his home was amazing. We were three friends traveling together wanting to do some hiking and this was such a gorgeous place to come home to. We ate breakfast and dinner outside, loved all the close by animals, used the Cornell Merlin app to identify all the local bird songs, basically it was a paradise. Thank you Marco!
