The place has the most gorgeous views and it is absolutely quiet - except for bird song. Perfect for relaxation. I went swimming in the pool every morning. We were able to explore Northern Tuscany, using La Lavanda as a base. One just has to be prepared for a pretty scary drive up and down the mountain. But one gets used to it. Sabrina welcomed us and was really, really helpful. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our time in Lucca and are very grateful to our host Vanessa who was so kind and helpful. She kept in contact in the lead up to our arrival and was willing to be available to answer any questions during our stay , responding quickly on the occasion we needed to ask a question. She was available to show us around this beautiful accommodation which is a huge benefit . She provided a list of local recommendations which we used and were always happy and impressed by her suggestions. The accommodation is in a perfect location within the walls of the old town but only 15 mins walk from the station.On one of the many old and beautiful cobbled streets. The accommodation itself was spotless and comfortable with a beautiful terrace and fully equipped. We will definitely return and would recommend to our family and friends.

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

Amazing host, location and home! The great listed building had a lift, which was very handy for our elderly parents, flat was beautifully furnitured with all amenities and more (better than pictures). Great communication from the host and had no problem with parking our car right in front of the building. Would definitely recommend and come back without any hesitation in the future!Thank you Veronica & family.❤️

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

The stay was perfect and one of the best stays that we have ever had. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We also cooked, which we usually don’t do… So beautiful. A place to come back for. Highly recommended.

we found the apartment as it was described in the photos, very clean and nothing was missing. very close to the beach and the host also advised us on the bathroom to go to: the abetone, very convenient. found very kind and helpful people, we also ate in their restaurant on the beach and ate very well. good and still good, keep it up. paola and giorgio.

We enjoyed staying with our children very much. You could relax wonderfully in the quiet environment, while the children liked to play on the grounds. The place was lovingly decorated and very clean. Highly recommended if you are looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. The view was absolutely breathtaking – waking up to the stunning Tuscan landscape was a true highlight. Communication with our host was smooth and friendly, and the check-in process was super easy. Unfortunately, we had to leave a bit earlier than planned due to health reasons, but that didn’t take away from the wonderful experience. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. We really enjoyed our stay at Casale I Girasoli. From the first moment, it felt like we were at home. Leo and the rest of the family are extremely hospitable and do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment is equipped with every comfort — everything you need is present. In addition, the beautiful garden is a wonderful place to relax, and the pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days. We stayed 3 days in this very nice apartment and had some great days there. It's super, super clean - with nice and functional furnitures. We would definitely recommend you this place - especially if you go by car as it is located a bit outside the city.

We had a great time in Lido Di Camaiore. Iacopo's appartment is superb. Located one block from the beach (literally 2 minutes), it was ideal to walk to and from the beach. From the penthouse appartment, you have a great view on the Ocean and the beach. It's comfy with 2 full bathrooms and 2 large rooms. The pictures are representative of the appartment. Thanks!

We had a great week at Miriam and Roberto's. The welcome was very satisfactory in all respects. The apartment is large, well arranged and has all the necessary comfort for a family with a small child. We were touched by the many attentions provided by the owners to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The apartment is very clean with good quality furniture and appliances. The kitchen is well-equipped and organized. The geographical location of the accommodation is advantageous for people who want to visit the 5 lands by train as it is a 10-minute walk from the train station. Small bonus: the apartment is located next to the public elevator that allows access to the pedestrian area of La Spezia. Our stay was fantastic! As a couple needing a break from a long start to the year, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax. Nestled in between fields and olive trees, we felt completely at home, the view from the deck was stunning and listening to the different sounds at night, from our private hot tub with a bottle of wine was perfect! We made several day trips to Volterra, Lucca and even Florence from the cabin, though definitely wake up early if you’re planning to venture further out! Would definitely recommend hiring a car if you’re going to stay here! 10 out of 10 stay! Thanks Pino!

We spent a week in this amazing place. Very clean accommodation, friendly hosts, I definitely recommend visiting the sauna. There is a very beautiful waterfall nearby. The house has its own territory. The hosts have impeccable taste, everything was provided.

Very nice apartment, nicely decorated with a very large terrace with jacuzzi and possibility to sit in shade. Great for cooling off after day trips. It was a wonderful place to stay. Baker, vegetable shops and a few small supermarkets nearby and old center of Lucca within walking distance. Nice shower and good bed. Great air conditioning. Free parking a few hundred meters away and also possible in front of the door for a fee.

The apartment is kind of "cool" for couples to stay. There is so space for two that you would never think you can find in an city apartment in Italy. Two toilets and two showers, what a treat. There was only one issue, which you can fix with earplugs. The extra noise is not coming from the street or neighbours, but through the roof. The apartment is in top floor and there are pigeons and seagulls on the roof. They walk around the roof and communicate with each other very early in the morning, you can hear that very well. This happened on three mornings out of four we stayed there. Maybe it was nesting season or something. But as said, use earplugs if this happens during your stay. The apartment itself is 100%.
