Excellent accommodation ideal for a couple on a weekend away in a quiet location

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We stayed here for 4 days of our ‘mini moon’. We wanted to enjoy peace and quiet and an easy trip to the beach. It ticked all those boxes. Porthtowan is a treasure going back to my husbands childhood. The accommodation was so peaceful, clean and comfortable. Dominique was very helpful in sending some recommendations before we arrived which were all well utilised. The walk can be challenging as it is a bit of a climb (only slightly and took around 6 minutes) but completely worth the views and the peaceful feel on top of the cliff. Thank you for having us!

One word that can describe Trudie’s and Simon’s place - an ‘oasis’. The place is perfectly positioned just few minutes walk to two stunning beaches, apartment beautifully renovated, beds are super comfortable with great quality linen, fluffy towels, wonderful gardens, fully equipped kitchen. And the view - it is simply breathtaking. But it’s the hosts that made us feel welcome and like at home! Thank you, Simon and Trudy, we hope to come back! I am thorn by posting this review as I almost wish I could keep this find as a secret!:)

We've stayed here before - and would do again. Safe parking, very clean apartment. Easy walk into Truro for supper. Would recommend a non slip mat for the shower - VERY slippy base.

We absolutely loved this spot, the location was brilliant, near everything we needed and a short walk to a lovely beach and beach bar. The apartment was very clean and as described, and everything we needed was either obvious or described in the folder very well. We couldn’t have felt more at home and neither could our puppy!

Marita is a very friendly, approachable and considerate host. We stayed with our little boy (18 months) and Marita went out of her way to ensure we had the necessities for him as he was the first baby to stay here! The apartment is lovely, the stairs are a little steep inside, but we managed to get our toddler up and down! The views are brilliant and the beach is only a short walk away. We really enjoyed morning walks to the beach and taking our dogs there. The sunsets are beautiful and sitting on the balcony in the sun each evening was absolute bliss. We loved staying here and have fallen in love with Porthtowan! Thank you for being such a wonderful host, Marita! X

The flat is compact but super clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal—very central and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the seafront, and public transport. The bed was incredibly comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend for a short stay in Penzance!

Excellent place, Mitch was very helpful with recommendations and all the essentials were provided free of charge in his place. Lovely apartment and perfect for me. Amazing location in town and lots to do around and nearby. Perfect for the weekend break!

What a fabulous apartment. It was so light & airy. It was perfect being next to the park with our dog & 4 year old who just loved the children’s play area! Penzance has some lovely restaurants & beautiful beaches nearby. It was an idyllic Father’s Day escape.

We had a great stay here. We are surfers and Julie's flat was the perfect spot. We would stay here again.

A lovely little space situated in the lower floor of the hosts' home though felt very private and has it's own entrance. The bed is comfy and bathroom, kitchen and living rooms are spacious. Our hosts were so kind in offering iced water and sorting out a parasol in the garden when it was hot. A lovely location in easy reach of a lot of Western Cornwall.

This is a small apartment and it is perfect for 2 adults. The location of the apartment is excellent for walks along the South west coast path. There is a nice little fish and chip shop and a pub, in the village, that both serve good food. I am a Coeliac on a Gluten Free diet and I had no problem eating at both establishments. The location of this Airbnb is definitely worth the money.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

Fantastic apartment with everything you need and amazing views of Newquay and the sea. The location was so central to the town centre, restaurants and the beach. a little gem.

My family of four recently stayed at Pamela’s place in Portreath and we had a blissful week in paradise! Everything about the week was great - Pamela and her family are so lovely and friendly and it truly felt like a home away from home. I booked this place especially for the amenities of the pool and hot tub and my kids (11 and 8) loved it! It was so nice to have an uncrowded swimming pool to relax at! The apartment was clean and cozy and was a great base for our week of adventures. It was nice to be able to walk 5 minutes for a morning pastry and coffee from the local bakery. It is clear from its immaculate and beautiful nature that Bassett Acre is a source of pride for Pamela and her family and they were perhaps the most gracious and friendly hosts of any place my family has stayed. We are already planning another stay next summer!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. Everything was as described or better and the views are second to none! We are so gutted to have to check out this morning as we didn't want our stay to end. We look forward to returning ☀️ Many thanks, Sam and Chris

we had a great stay at Kevin's apartment. being close to the town centre with its own parking was a bonus. The apartment was very nice, clean and modern and Kevin was easy to deal with. easy walking distance to both the town and the beach. I would definitely recommend it. Dave

Just want to say a massive thankyou again! We had a lovely time staying at Blue View and the flat had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped & the views are to die for!! The pool was heated so I was able to take my 4 month old son in there who loved it! Kirsten & Ben are very friendly and even had the flat ready for us a couple of hours before the usual check in time :D we will definitely be back next year! X
