Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ferndale

My stay here was absolutely amazing. The only thing I wish is that I extended my trip. I booked this Airbnb almost two months in advance, Ryan was accommodating to my requests and very communicative before my trip and throughout my stay. I look forward to staying here again during my next visit!

We loved this air bnb! It was perfect for me, my husband, and our two dogs. We loved the house and location! Beautiful neighborhood to walk our girls, but also close to lots of restaurants and little shops.

Jessica’s place was so noticeably clean and updated. It had Everything we needed and we even hosted a nice dinner for my father in law. Best of all clean, comfortable cozy beds/bedding! Thank you Jessica!

Desmond is a great host and very responsive! His property is in a great location and the neighborhood is very quiet. The house is very nice and clean and will accommodate you if you have 4-6 people. It would be very beneficial if the half bath is available, especially if you have a family. However, we still made the best of it and were very comfortable in Desmonds home. I would stay there again if it is available the next time we are there!

Phil really had the place comfortable for all of us and went the extra mile with snacks, a doggie bed, and toys. Our pup really enjoyed the ball! He was also very flexible with our arrival and departure time which was very helpful! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Two colleagues and I enjoyed our stay (nine nights) very much. The house was as described, modern furniture, very bright, clean & well equipped. We even had a nice welcome basket with tasty nibbles and wine and a personal welcome card :-). The location is very good, easy (and safe) to walk to downtown restaurants. The Supermarket around the corner was very convenient, not to forget "Crispellys" bakery :-) As it has been a business stay, we were happy with the individual work space/table in each bedroom. Wifi was very good. Our host Martine was always very friendly & helpful, shared many information and reacted very quickly. While we had some issues with the heating in parts of the house, she arranged immediately for a technician to come, even on Sunday. Shame we could not use the nice and inviting back yard due to the winter/cold, this would have been perfect (so summer is a much better time to enjoy everything in & around the house). We would definitely stay there again.

I had a great time to relax with my family. Brent was very helpful, cheerful, and nice.

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

Great, clean, and well appointed stay really close to downtown Royal Oak.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Awesome spot in a very walkable neighborhood. The building is quite old but the space was very clean and comfortable. The AC was nice and cold, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and extra shower supplies. I will definitely stay here again.

The Phunky Pheasant suite is my go to place to stay when I visit Detroit for work or pleasure. They are extremely hospitable with their snacks l, drinks and delicious homemade cookies. They were even gracious enough to provide their cookie recipe! I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The bathtub with jets and hot tub made our stay very enjoyable.

This was such a special stay and I can't say enough positive things about Jerald's boathouse on the canal. I only had one night there and hated to leave. The photos don't do the space justice, with so many thoughtful touches, tremendous design, and deliciously comfortable furniture. I arrived to a family of geese with little geeselings swimming by and woke up to the sunrise over the water. I loved the quiet community of the canal, with a few boats quietly cruising by, and just wish I'd had time to take the canals out for a treat. Jerald was so helpful with check in and local recommendations. I loved everything about this beautiful little retreat!

Felt right at home in this 1940’s log cabin. Ryan and Tammy’s communication was very helpful before arrival of items they provided and check in process. The beds are not the most comfortable but good enough for us for two nights. Plenty of pillow options and linens. The cabin does have low doorways so if you’re tall you will have the urge to slouch inside. The house is nestled on a hill with plenty of trees that provide privacy and a secluded feel from the surrounding homes. The log cabin is unique to this very nice neighborhood as other homes are more traditional. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and spotted turkeys, deer along with plenty of birds, squirrels and chipmunks. It was a great cozy find. This was our first Airbnb experience and this stay encourages us to find another gem in the future.
