Holiday rentals with a kayak in Fire Island

My husband and I had a family filled weekend for our wedding followed by a mini-moon. We enjoyed every minute of it and we will definitely be booking again!

We had a fabulous stay at this adorable cottage. It had everything we needed and more. Great spaces indoors and out to hang out, walkable to one of our favorite wineries, other wineries & restaurants close by. Appreciated having a tandem kayak to use & explore Goose Creek. Enjoyed watching birds, including Baltimore oriole parents in a nest in the backyard. Would return again. Thank you!

We loved the home and yard. Beautiful is the best description with so many seating options. The house is bright and inviting. The hosts have done a great job decorating and providing so many amenities not even listed. I would recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting a place to relax and enjoy what is there.

Fantastic cute spot in Old Saybrook. Key things for future guests to know - there is no A/C in the winter months so the air can get a bit stale / stuffy in the house. Plus there is no washing machine / dryer in the house, so defo bring enough clothes!

Amazing house that could not be any closer to the beach. Super well thought out house with very nice appliances and finishes. Kids and parents alike had a great time and will look forward to visiting again. A real gem!

Great stay! Although it was a rainy weekend, we had a great weekend!! There were close restaurants and coffee shops and the house itself was perfect. Great aesthetic to the home, very cozy and relaxing.

As a native long islander I enjoy finding great properties I can bring my family to to take advantage of all long island has to offer. This was the DREAMIEST beach bungalow!! The bedroom with the two beds was just my favorite room especially since we visited off season. You cannot beat this location. I can't wait to book again during high season! We loved Laura and Dana’s Big Easy home by the beach. It was big and comfortable and every detail had been thought about to maximize our enjoyment. Drawers and closets and cabinets were all labeled so we didn’t have to search for anything or guess where anything was. Literally every need had been anticipated! Amazing. The beds and bedding and linens and towels were abundant and soft and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were awesome, from an air fryer, to a full set of bar tools and blender, to great appliances. The decor was happy and cheerful and creative and fun. There were so many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. Do not hesitate to choose this wonderful place for a visit of any length. You will love it!

We very much enjoyed staying in Meredith’s place. The cottage is surrounded by trees so it feels secluded and peaceful. The cottage is elegantly decorated; there were so many nice books around which we enjoyed checking out. Meredith was so nice and responsive. We will definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is a perfect location on Fire Island and a classic island house with lots of character, fun decor and all the supplies we needed for a great week with the family. As a host, Tim is flexible, friendly and thoughtful. If you are traveling with small children, it is totally unnecessary to bring any toys or books, as there is a great selection at the house and Tim made the extra effort to drop of extra ones he thought we would enjoy. I hope to stay here again!

We had a great stay at Jonathan's cottage. The location could not be beat - right on the beach. Jonathan was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. There were a couple of minor hiccups that occurred but Jonathan was quick and responsive. Overall, a beautiful home in a great location.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful home! It is an old house so it had its quirks, but it was nothing we couldn’t look past. Very steep stairs, a janky door- nothing major. We had young kids with us so the gates for the stairs came in very handy! There were baby gates, 2 pack and plays, a high chair and a toddler bed. Those amenities alone took so much stress off us. The towels and linens were all very nice and clean and plentiful. The views were PHENOMENAL. We took a walk along the beach at low tide and had so much fun collecting golf balls and shells. My son got to hold his first baby shrimp and jellyfish. The memories made were priceless. Water shoes are a must!! If you require a smart tv with all the apps, I recommend bringing a Firestick, as the tv capabilities were limited. I had one delivered from target within an hour. Astrid was the BEST host! She was extremely responsive, helpful, flexible, and kind. I can’t say enough good things about her and her home!

Had a great time despite the weather, there was so much todo. The place was cozy!

Meghan's place is exactly as posted it is absolutely beautiful, cozy, comfortable and did I say beautiful? one of my favorite things to do was sit in front of the big windows and read. You have everything you can think of close, at least 4 to 6 minutes away. There are restaurants, super market and pharmacies. But if you are like me and also like to cook sometimes on vacation the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Highly, highly recommend.
