Waterfront holiday rentals in Fire Island

Great stay in Stony Creek Village with a view of Long Island Sound and short walk to the pier, Stony Creek Market (breakfast & lunch). I used the Library and went to services at the Stony Creek Congregational Church. Overall, a nice experience.

Jeannette was there to greet us and made sure we knew where everything was and that we had everything we needed. She even provided breakfast. Her place was immaculate. The location was amazing. She made our departure very easy. We are looking forward to staying there again. If you looking for a great place to stay, this is it.

Nathan’s a great host and he provided a great welcome pack. Great home for my wife and I and adult son. Plenty of space and walkable to coffee shops and river. Awesome communication and offered a very helpful relaxed late check out at no cost. Totally recommend this host and this property

Stay here was great! We were in the area for an anniversary and this place worked well for my mom, who is on the elderly side and can't reallyy do steps. We were in Flushing and LI, so this worked well (aside from traffic, but that's NY for you). We had a slight issue with connecting to the Wi-Fi, but our hosts came immediately to our message and all was fixed in a matter of minutes. Safe space, comfortable beds, easy to park and access. Thanks so much for having us, would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The house was bright, clean, and full of positive energy. One of the highlights was the beautiful deck right on the canal – perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Inside, everything was thoughtfully arranged, with clear notes and instructions that made our stay smooth and easy. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. Overall, it was a perfect home base, and we’d happily return. Highly recommended!

Dawn and Bob’s place is one of the top Airbnb’s we have stayed in! Top notch in every way. It was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed. And on top of that Dawn and Bob were the most friendly hosts we have met! I would recommend this Airbnb without reservation and will be back whenever we are back in CT!

As business professionals visiting the area for a nearby charity golf outing, this was our second stay at this beautiful home—and it was just as pristine as last year. The cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail inside are exceptional, and the waterfront deck offers stunning views that make for a truly relaxing experience. We had a relaxing overnight with our two pups! The bay/sound area is so peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed swimming before the tide came in and we kayaked along the shoreline. The inside was stunning and had everything you needed and more! We door dashed lobster rolls from the Bonfire Grille nearby (10/10) and ended the night in the hot tub! Coffee on the sunny patio was a great perk, too! Thanks again!!

Truly one of a kind property. Relaxing, calm, extremely responsive and helpful host. If you are looking to get out of the city or just need some time away to think, look no further. 10/10.

Family of five — we had a great long weekend at the house. Nice water view, easy walking distance to deli and restaurants. House is well appointed and cared for, anything you need for cooking, etc. Basement game room is a nice plus.

Great and responsive host. Home was lovely and we felt welcome. Host responded quickly to questions and requests. The home was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio and pool area. I would recommend for a peaceful time away from the city.

This was such a great day! It’s tucked away so that it feels secluded, but you’re just a short drive from restaurants and bars, groceries and coffee. We were familiar with the area so that helped and made the location absolutely fantastic for where we wanted to go and what we needed. We were there for relaxation and also a retreat for writing. Very friendly host easy check-in. Directions to the house were very helpful just because it is off of the main street. It was so spacious. The layout was really nice for us as well because everybody felt like they had their own private space but we could come together in the many options for common space. We were very lucky that the weather was perfect also there were different options for coffee and all of the amenities were listed for us to prepare. Property as described and like photos. Highly recommend and we definitely hope to return later in the summer! Thanks for a great stay!

John and Cathy are amazing hosts. This was our second consecutive summer stay in their condo and it does not disappoint. The place and the amenities they provide are amazing and they are a wonderful couple who respects your privacy but are there for anything you need. I recommend anyone to stay here and know they would want to return. Thank you John and Cathy for making our second summer with you a fantastic vacation!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cliffside for our wedding weekend! Alice was very flexible with us, which we appreciated because getting married is chaotic enough LOL. Would highly recommend staying here. The unit was spotless and had a wonderful view. We could not have asked for a better stay!

We had a great stay at Julie’s place. There was a slight hiccup with check-in times but Julie was very communicative and sorted it out promptly. The place itself was great, beautiful waterfront views and a private beach. The weather wasn’t the best but we still made the most of it. The apartment was compact but big enough for 4 adults.

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

Great retreat for a long weekend. Enough space for family of four. Easy access to everything in the Greenport area. Mia was very responsive, and the place was great. We would stay here again!

We had a great time at Julie’s place. Would love to visit again…perhaps in the Fall. Loved the balcony overlooking the Sound. Julie was very responsive to my questions. She got back to me immediately. I would highly recommend Julie’s home!

This was a great place to reset. I will say, don't get intimidated when you 1st walk in. The floors are a bit wonky and the walls are very thin. But I never felt more at home than when I saw my space. The neighbors were so friendly and the walk to the beach was about a block. Though it was cold we truly enjoyed the beach. And walked down there multiple times a day. There is also a gas station and convenience store 3min driving and very walkable.
