Modernized apartment (70 m²) in one of the most beautiful areas of the Rhön. If you are looking for peace and original nature, this is the place to be. From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

We rent out our 77 sqm fully furnished 3-room apartment in Burkardroth, which is located on our 1200 sqm property in an outbuilding with a separate entrance. Max. 5 people: - Larger bedroom: 2 x 1 m double bed + single bed - Smaller bedroom: Single bed with an additional pull-out Single size bed - Living room: Sofa bed + single bed - The kitchen is on the ground floor; the living room/bedrooms and the bathroom are accessible via steps.

Apartment "Sonne" (Rhön Apartments, Bischofsheim)

Our newly renovated and modern apartment "Sonne" consists of a large and cozy dining and living area, with an open and fully equipped kitchen. In the apartment there is a bedroom with a double bed (1.60 m) and a couch with a sleeping function (1.40 m). The bathroom has daylight and is equipped with a sink, shower and toilet. Our apartment "Sonne" is on the ground floor and the terrace with adjoining garden invite you to play and sunbathe.

Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. Welcome to the guest house in Spessart – a modern retreat on a spacious estate surrounded by an idyllic garden and unspoiled nature. Located directly on the edge of the village, the accommodation offers absolute peace and quiet and at the same time direct access to hiking trails, mountain bike trails and the refreshing river Sinn and with a swimming opportunity in the outdoor pool at the other end of the village.

The cozily furnished house for up to 4 people has a large terrace with garden furniture. Our vacation home on its own property is located on the outskirts about 100 meters from the forest. From here you can explore Thuringia in all directions. Whether Eisenach, Erfurt, Meiningen, Suhl, Schmalkalden, Gotha, etc. are easily accessible from here. Oberhof, the winter sports center, is about 15 km away.

The guest house has a separate entrance and offers everything you need for a relaxing (short) vacation with up to three bedrooms, a large living and dining room with open kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub and an additional shower with toilet.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
