My wife and I stayed with Stefan and his wife for a week in April 2025. Great sun weather, extremely nice landlords and a beautiful, apparently only recently completely converted and modernly furnished apartment. And don't forget: You live with a recognized good winemaker, whose wine can be tasted in the tasting room and of course also buy (and should also buy because of the quality). Overall: A nice getaway with nice people in a very nice setting.

Very nice, quiet apartment! Modern and cozy furnishings. The facility leaves nothing to be desired. We caught the first hot days and yet it was pleasantly cool in the apartment even at night. The view of the Palatinate Forest, the Wingert, the Rhine Valley and the Hambach Castle are a small highlight. From the apartment you can start your hikes directly, use the great local outdoor swimming pool and simply leave the car behind, as everything is within walking distance. Thanks also to Dirk & Carolin for the simple and friendly communication! :)

I had a lovely stay at this apartment. Communication with the host was very good, and access via the key box worked without any problems. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Thanks for the coffee cups. The bed was cozy. I would only be careful with very small children, as there is a staircase in the apartment without a railing, which is about a meter deep. I would definitely go back. Thank you so much for the great experience!

Everything is correct with the description, even more ... in reality it is much more beautiful! Great cottage, with a history. Beautifully restored and furnished. Everything is present to make the stay pleasant and perfect. Your own oasis in a very romantic village in the middle of the wine region. For us, it is THE most romantic village in the area, and the cottage fits perfectly (super romantic). Great restaurants within walking distance, bakery... and supermarket (by bike). Cycling in the region is also great, and well organized... Walks in nature are also definitely recommended... and of course the wine sales.... MMMM what a time. In short, we definitely recommend this cottage! 1 small minus point (very small point), streaming via the wifi is difficult, for example to watch programs from home or listen to music. The WiFi sometimes went down ...

The apartment is located in the middle of Gleisweiler. Large bed 180 x 200 and new mattresses. Storage for 2 bikes. We were very pleasantly surprised by the location, the premises and the furnishings. The terrace spans the entire width of the apartment, offering a comfortable outdoor sofa corner and a large breakfast table (morning sun) and is slightly higher above the Badstraße, overlooking the small Protestant church, the fountain in front of the café "s'Lädl" and the Rhine plain. In short, we were perfectly happy - to which the summer weather also contributed, of course - and we are considering whether we should book a week directly for next year.
