Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Floyd County

Alina's place was a gem! We were in town for Virginia Tech's graduation and while it was a bit of a drive to and from Blacksburg it was nice to be away from all of the hustle and bustle in town. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and the surroundings are gorgeous!

Lovely and spacious place, walkable to so many great things in Floyd. The house was clean and well-equipped. We loved spending time in the backyard with the fire pit too.

My family very much enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to messages, and went above and beyond to welcome us. The house is spacious and clean, and it has an excellent sunroom where we spent a lot of time. Lovely views out the back, too.

The only thing missing were binoculars!!! What a beautiful, serene place! The four of us had such a good time! The highlight was visiting Tom Wynn’s Cobb Hill Alpaca Farm!! This home is so well built and cared for…everything worked and was up to date. We’ll definitely come again!!

We did a graduation girls trip here and it was absolutely gorgeous! We had a lot of fun through the cloudy and rainy spotted days, that didn’t stop us! We swam in the lake, tanned, did a movie/game night, and we were on the patio every night. We felt so comfortable and at home together, and best of all we all got closer than we already were! It was the perfect weekend and we will 100% be coming back!

This is our second time staying at this property. It really is perfect. Comfortable, exceptionally clean, and many great touches. We look forward to coming back again next year!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here with our son. We just desired a place to rest and take a break from our busy lives. We were blessed with perfect weather and spent most of our days by the babbling creek having breakfast or coffee and a good book. Amy was very friendly and helpful with local recommendations and even set up a crib for our son to use before we arrived.

This place is a gem. We’ve stayed here a couple times now and it’s a fantastic place to stay if you have young kids. Our son always enjoys playing with the toys they have on site and running in the big yard. Easy drive to stores and great restaurants.

Our stay in Floyd was incredibly peaceful—tucked in the heart of nature, quiet, private, and serene. Kathryn was a wonderful host—warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a perfect touch for relaxation. The kitchen was well stocked. We also attended a beautiful Mother’s Day gathering in the main house with music and a potluck, which was truly special. The hosts made the entire experience even more memorable. We loved every moment!

Beautiful location with simply appointed and super clean rooms. The common area is great for relaxing with family or friends and had very comfortable seating and enjoyable views. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but hope to return and do that next time.

Have stayed here multiple times and every experience has been fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. Marcia’s communication is great and the Coleman Suite is so unique and cozy. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Floyd area.

We absolutely loved our time with Patty and Stephen. A truly beautiful home - tastefully done, attention to detaiI at every turn. The property itself is soothing to the soul, with captivating sights & sounds to please a weary traveler. What a relaxing, worry free stay! The room was comfortable, the water was very hot and there is ample space for 2-4 people. The EcoLodge also has super comfortable beds and pillows. Waking up to see the fog on the pond was wonderful to see. We really enjoyed the farm store on-property as well. Wish we were there for longer!

Bessie was a pleasure to work with! She's easygoing, proactive and very communicative. Our crew really appreciated having a comfortable place to stay while working in the area, and we're glad to be returning guests. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience at this Airbnb. The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. It has everything you need for a relaxing time. Our favorite part was spending time outside on the peaceful farm and hiking trails. The trails were well maintained and very convenient for taking our dog out to explore. We also loved visiting the town of Floyd, which is only about 20 minutes from the cabin. We highly recommend this Airbnb for a private and peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin, it was nice to have a peaceful place to relax and I loved sitting on the screen porch and just watching the trees sway. We did have a critter in the old chimney but it was immediately taken care of after I let Barbara know. It is definitely in the woods so bugs and animals will be seen more often, as long as you are fine with that then this is a super fun place. Absolutely amazing host that took care of anything we needed as well. Do yourself a favor and walk to the waterfall a few streets over. It was gorgeous and so fun to splash through the water even if it is ice cold!

May be one of my favorite mountain stays I’ve had! Definitely will be back!

If you’re looking to get away from a busy lifestyle & need to unwind , the cabin is the perfect place. Not many places you can lay in bed & watch the sunrise. Truly a very special place & my husband & I feel very blessed to have spent a weekend there.

We stayed here while we waited for our house to close. This was an awesome choice. If you are looking for peace and a feeling of being right at home this is it! Tommy is an extremely gracious host, super responsive to any inquiries and has loads of information on the area and things to do- places to go. You will love his place. It’s a tucked away gem, and there are many good books if you just want to hang out. It’s a very nice place!

The Copper Buffalo A-Frame was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend getaway to attend a wedding. We had plenty of space, the house was clean and well stocked and the views are breathtaking! We took lots of photos :-) Thank you for letting us stay in your majestic place.
