House holiday rentals in Fluvanna County

We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

We had a PERFECT stay at Pine Lake Lodge for UVA graduation weekend and cannot say enough great things about this lovely country retreat! Pati is a fantastic, friendly host and has decorated the lodge so charmingly that we felt instantly right at home! Like other reviewers, we found both the lodge and property to be much nicer and more spacious than the photos, which was a lovely surprise! We were also thrilled to find it was just over 20 minutes from UVA, and yet a world away from the crowds in town for graduation! The pool was such a delight to return to after several hot hours in town! And the nights cooled down enough to enjoy the lovely outdoor fireplace, as well, which was kindly stacked with firewood and ready to use! From start to finish our stay at Pine Lake Lodge and its host, Pati, exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to visit again!

This house is a gem! It’s our second time staying here and my family loves it! We have two adult daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, we love the pool, pool house with pool table and the screened in porch! All of us have our own levels of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is clean, has the little touches of home and Lois is a dream to work with. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for! We hope to return next summer! I hate writing such a good review because it will only be harder to book in the future!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house was even bigger and cozier than I anticipated and the views were gorgeous. We loved being on the same property as Cardinal Point Winery and walked down to do a tasting/enjoy some bottles. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we could have needed and the pool area was great!

Angela is a fabulous host, always responsive and helpful. I’d definitely recommend a stay at The Franklin Estate to anyone coming to the Ruckersville area. The spaces are clean and cute and the pool being right outside the door is a big bonus.

I stayed at Sarah’s place with a small group of my best girlfriends. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, fun, and memorable. Her home is expertly curated to ensure a relaxing and highly enjoyable stay. And her hospitality was deeply appreciated by all! Thank you, Sarah!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had ample space for our group of 8. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessities to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the big couch in the living room. If it wasn't so cold we would have loved spending time on the large back deck or sitting down by the lake.

This house was beautiful, modern, and cozy at the same time. My family and I had a wonderful time! We are definitely planning on staying here again. Daniel was also a great host - we had no problems and he always answered our questions quickly! Thank you Daniel 😊

What a gorgeous spot! 20 minutes from UVA, you’re right down the road from Monticello in beautiful wine country. The house is sparkling clean with all the amenities you could possibly need. The kitchen is HUGE, and the open floor plan really makes for a fun weekend with friends/family. We had a much needed Mom’s weekend, and really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and taking in the woods around us. Jason was very helpful and friendly in his communication, we would definitely love to come back.

We loved our stay. We enjoy the backyard and the campfire. We were able to have a restful weekend. David was a great host.

Lisa was a very good host and responded to my messages in a reasonable amount of time. The house was nicely decorated and spacious for our group (5 people). The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The location actually turned out to be better than originally thought for what we wanted to see and do. We were basically 10-15 minutes away from downtown Charlottesville, wineries, and Monticello. We had a great time and plan to come back.

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was so peaceful and remote, perfect place to get away from it all and unplug. We liked to sit on the big porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the view. We were also able to go fishing in the river and the path was clear of limbs and grass cut. The incline/decline to the river is steep/would be difficult for those with mobility issues but the steps imbedded in the hill were helpful! The cabin was beautiful and clean! Brian has been super responsive and a great host. We got grocery staples at the food lion in Goochland and ventured to elk island winery, licking hole brewery and southern revere brewery which id recommend as well! I definitely excited to return in the future and try out Brian’s other properties!

My family and I stayed here for a Liberty University graduation. Although it’s a bit of a drive it’s a good location, not far from wineries, shopping and affordable etc. Emma is a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodated everything we needed for our littles. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to others!

The house was nestled on a very large property. Deer would come in the evenings. The house was spacious and Sarah was a fabulous host.

We needed a place over the weekend for our daughter’s UVA graduation. The house is wonderful and HUGE! We had no difficulty accommodating the 12 people in our party. The winding road from Charlottesville (Rt 53) is a bit of a challenge at night but it’s well worth the trip nevertheless. Alexandra, the host is super responsive and helpful. We were travelling for work, so only a few things are important to us as we don't spend very much time there. A comfortable bed, hot shower, tv and coffee pot. We had all those things. It was very quiet, also important. Cooking facilities were limited, microwave and toaster oven. We found a local grocery store just a few miles up the road with great take-out food. The fried chicken and cheeseburgers were amazing. We would definitely rent again if working in the area.
