Furnis Villa for a relaxing stay

The upper two floors of Furnis Villa, a 150 year old detached three storey sandstone house centrally located in a quiet three house cul-de-sac. Recently renovated and furnished to a high standard. Very comfortable to live in and ideal for a few nights or a longer stay. The entrance is at the rear and accessed along the alleyway to the left of the property (NOT the ground floor front door). Parking is usually easily available in the cul-de-sac close to the house. PLEASE READ ‘Guest access’ below.

A comfortable, spacious 3-bedroom house conveniently located for all the town's shops and amenities. Located on the High Street the house has parking immediately adjacent and has a large garden with gated access onto the Speyside Way for riverside walks. The garden is sunny and sheltered with a large patio and other seating areas. The house has a spacious kitchen with dining area, a large lounge and a separate dining room. Upstairs has two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and the main bathroom.

The cottage sleeps two, in a cosy king-sized bed, with direct access to a shower room. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting, kitchen and dining room with log stove and views to the loch. Dufftown is 3 miles, Keith is 8 miles and the village of Drummuir is 2.5 miles Wifi service is limited due to location

A perfect holiday home for couples and families wishing to explore the wonders of the Moray coast. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard for you to relax and enjoy your break to the fullest. There is an outside cold shower and patio area. Large storage area for clothes and cases is available in mirrored cupboards upstairs. Parking available at front and rear of cottage.

Please note there is a surcharge of GBP 8 per day per pet this can be paid cash to us. If your stay is longer than 5 nights you can use our laundry facility located at Kellas House (3 min. walk) please ask about this on your arrival if you like to use this facility.

Gas central heating. 2 double beds, kitchen including air fryer , bathroom. Cosy, homely, private cottage in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. Light the log burner and sit back to relax. The old schoolhouse (built in 1866) has loads of character and feels remote and quiet despite being well situated just off the main Banff/Huntly road. Banff is about 5 minutes drive. The garden is large and you have full run of the whole premises during your stay. There are some lovely walks from the house.
