Family-friendly holiday rentals in Follonica

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

Lovely, peaceful, spacious place with a kind and generous host in Simone. He met us as we arrived and used his wagon to help move our luggage into the cottage. Big rooms, lots of space, many handy supplies in the kitchen. Good shower, comfortable bed. Enough bench space in the bathroom to put your things. Simone was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and where to park the car. One day he made a delicious tart and bought us in half. Would recommend staying at his place.

In the unique beauty of Tuscany, we had the privilege of finding a welcoming and unique place: Melograni de Chianti. A farm with a typical construction of the area, surrounded by olive trees and wineries. Serena and Sara welcome you, generously and affectionately. The place is beautiful, the silence is absolute, and the tips to go to the medieval towns were perfect. Ideal place for who wants to escape the stress of urban life, with great Wi-Fi for who needs to work. The common spaces are several, and make it possible for you to stay at the Airbnb for a long time. I went with my mother, and we left with the certainty that we will return with the whole family. The farm wines are delicious and the olive oil is very special.

Incredible stay and Bernardino and his family were incredibly welcoming and pleasant. They helped us check in later and were there to help us with any questions we had. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful Tuscan retreat.

Staying at the Valentini farm is like a family experience. Chiara, Luca and Giovanni immediately made us feel at home, with a warm welcome received upon our arrival and with so much availability, friendliness, affability and attention throughout the holiday, but without any intrusion. The estate is a place to regenerate, immersed in nature and in the endless expanses of vineyards and olive trees, which the Valentini family takes care of with so much love. The apartment is equipped with all comforts and an intimate outdoor space to fully enjoy the stay, with shared areas where vacationers have the utmost mutual respect. In addition to the naturalistic experience, the pool is one of the highlights to enjoy on hot days. Finally, the farm is in a strategic position that gives access to the main local attractions (from the sea to the hill, from the crystal clear waters to the medieval towns) just a few kilometers by car. It was the experience we were looking for and what we recommend.

We stayed at "laoro" for five days (four nights) and had a very good time. The owners are friendly, they gave us all the useful information for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The place is sheltered and very peaceful. The house is comfortable and clean. We had our large dog with us and we found no difficulty. There is Lake Accesa nearby, very comfortable, but in any case we were not too far from the beaches of Follonica. Great experience.

Daria's apartment in Piombino is perfect for one or two people looking for a base from which to explore the Tuscan coast and its archipelago. Accommodation as in the photos (even better), modern and with everything you need. Free parking a short walking distance away, apartment in the city center with various services.

Martina’s entire estate is very peaceful and extremely beautiful. Just remember that it is really off the beaten path. She was so passionate about the property and making people feel right at home. It was one of the more beautiful places we stayed in all of Italy. Make sure to bring food up there with you before going. It is at least 35 min to town, but this is one of those places it is almost not worth leaving. Wish we had more time to stay there.

Martine is a wonderful hostess. Super helpful and friendly. On your homepage she gives the best tips for going out, restaurants, beaches, etc., etc. We really appreciated all this information. Martine was always available for further questions. Her apartment is lovingly and nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Martine's friend Carla. The entire 4 wochem in Follonica were magnificent. We enjoyed the apartment ourselves, the location of the apartment and the city. One small thing we missed at the end of October were warmer breathable blankets. Everything else was perfect. Thanks Martine!

Wow! This was just perfect from the beginning to the end. First, Massimo was waiting for us at the gate to bring us to the parking where he took our luggage and brought them to the apartment. Then, he sat down with us to give us some instructions and local recommendations. The apartment was clean and spacious for my family of 4. The location is just perfect. It’s in the heart of San Gimignano so you can walk everywhere from there. Even if San Gimignano is crowded, the apartment is very quiet with a small outdoor to enjoy. Massimo joined us on our last day to bring back the luggage to our car. This is a first-class experience. I don’t want to forget Fabio who has been very responsive on Airbnb as well. I definitely highly recommend Fabio’s place!

Breathtaking property that our family found relaxing and rejuvenating. The space was well-equipped. Guilio is a great host. The donkey and horse made the stay memorable for the kids.

Wonderful apartment in a Tuscan village with idyllic charm! The apartment is perfectly equipped and it feels like home. The region is beautiful and well located for visiting Tuscany! In the village, a butcher/grocery store is accessible. There are also two restaurants. We went to "Al Castello" which we recommend for traditional dishes! Simona always responded quickly to us when we had any questions and check-in/checkout were very simple! Thank you, we'll be back!

We spend here 4 nights with our dog and felt right at home. I love nature and I love to cook and the kitchen being small has everything and a window on the Tuscan landscape, Considering we were not lucky with the weather Antonio gave us a few great tips what to do and we had an amazing time! Thomas was so sweet and helpful. He was an absolute gentleman and wonderful host. The views were amazing. Very homey and decorated in the Tuscany style. Close to town but perfect for a quiet escape in the Tuscan countryside.

Fabio and Sarah's farm is a true oasis of peace and tranquility! We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home! It was an extremely pleasant stay in the name of nature and the beautiful surrounding landscapes. The pool, with a view of the valley, is truly splendid! The accommodation provided is well maintained and tastefully furnished! Fabio was very helpful and kind: he was a great help in solving a problem we had as soon as we arrived! We can't imagine a more beautiful place to stay while we visited Chianti! The location is absolutely heavenly, and Emanuela's home is stunning. Everything was so comfortable, and our family particularly loved spending time outside and enjoying the pool. It's conveniently located for several Tuscan day trips, and there are many amazing wineries nearby. And the icing on the cake were Emanuela and Giovanni, who went above and beyond in helping us throughout our trip - from recommendations and help with reservations to having a few food items and coffee stocked for our first day's breakfast. Easily the best hosts we've ever enjoyed in our years staying in Airbnbs!

While Paolo was away, our check-in and communication with Bruno went very smoothly. The property is absolutely stunning. The view of Sam Gimignano as you swim in the pool was something out of a movie scene. The property has surrounding olive trees and vineyards seen right from the window of the airbnb. This particular room is in a tucked away corner of the property and feels very private. Bed was comfy. Washing machine and drying racks, as well as a grill were plusses. Many agriturismos offer a dinner for an added fee, and we were a little disappointed that the dinner (in the past offered by Paolo’s neighbors) was closed during our stay. However, in fending for ourselves, we did appreciate the mini fridge and microwave, and loved eating our dinner right on the private table outside the room door. Also, you do have to clean out your trash at the end of the stay. Price felt right. Overall, would happily stay again and will be forever dreaming of the view.

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!
