Great holiday home with beautiful views over the Tuscan hills. No less than 3 spacious bedrooms with great beds. A nice covered terrace with the same beautiful view where you can have delicious breakfast or dinner. The private swimming pool is of course also fantastic, our children enjoyed this. Gabriele is a very friendly proactive host who sent all nice tips and useful info in advance and awakened our self upon arrival. Despite the slightly inclement weather during the week we were there, there is plenty to do and visit in the area, when the weather is nice you can also go to the coast. I would highly recommend this stay and hope to come back someday!

The accommodation met our expectations. An old farmhouse surrounded by nature, very quiet and located with great views. Only the sun hardly came through(bad for drying laundry, or sitting outside-where we were there in the fall), but the many mosquitoes ;o( which may recommend mosquito screens. Inside everything was ok, according to age, but functional and functional. Only the doors should be pulled in a bit of maintenance, they hardly close anymore. This property exceeded our expectations with spectacular views and peaceful, natural surroundings! The host was friendly and responsive. The proximity to San Gimignano and other Tuscan destinations was convenient. Each day felt magical! Just sitting on the patio was amazing! An unforgettable destination and experience!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful setting to celebrate my partner’s 40th birthday. Our week was perfectly balanced between visiting nearby Montalcino wineries & surrounding villages, a day trip to Siena, and lazing about the pool & villa. Monica was kind, generous & helpful from the time of booking. She accommodated all requests and even left a gift for my partner to celebrate his birthday! Will be back! Would rate this 6 stars if we could.

We enjoyed it very much. The garden and the pool were great and we recovered very well. The bikes were really old but sufficient for a ride to the supermarket or train station. Although the landlords live directly on the property, we did not feel disturbed and always had the whole garden and pool fully available to us. We hardly saw the landlords, and on some days not at all. You have to like a garden kitchen.... We got along well with it. All in all, a great place to stay that we are happy to recommend.

Wonderful villa and grounds with private sea access and lounge area in the rocks. Tastefully renovated older villa, very attentive hosts who helped with any of the minor issues we had. Nice pellet oven was great as the weather was a bit cool. Wonderful place and view.

An enchanting place. The villa is steeped in history and the gardens with a small amphitheater and a distant view of Siena are spectacular. Great location from which to explore the rest of Tuscany. My family and I have enjoyed our stay.

Incredible villa, meticulously maintained gardens and fruit trees, mesmerizing views and the gorgeous pool. Celebrated my father’s 70th birthday here with his kids and grandkids and we won’t forget it. Slice of heaven.

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

The villa was simply stunning and we had a wonderful time. The indoor and outside spaces were very spacious and looked exactly as described, if not better! The villa was very clean and Giulia organised everything for us, including pool towels and towel sets. She welcomed us and gave us a tour of the villa when we arrived. I highly recommend Villa Francigena if you want to spend time immersed in the Tuscan beautiful landscape and in a peaceful and spacious typical villa, not far from wine tasting spots and the beautiful town of San Gimignano! We stayed one night at this beautiful villa. There were 14 of us and everyone comfortably found their own space. The house is very large and well laid out, the ground floor offers moments of conviviality that are difficult to recreate elsewhere. The large living room, equipped with table tennis and foosball, overlooks the porch and the internal garden, together with the kitchen (beautifully equipped), creating a single, large sharing area. The house is really suitable for everyone, even the little ones, the inner courtyard is closed, safe and enjoys a lot of privacy. Spending a few days in this accommodation is one of those experiences that you should do at least once a month. The owner Barbara has followed us impeccably from the beginning with accurate instructions and excellent advice. We'll be back

Our stay at Villa Tina was memorable. Paolo and Laura are very good hosts and we didn't miss anything. Perfect for 2 families. Private beach access. Wonderful sea view. Highly recommend Paolo's place.

Villa La Scuola was the perfect home for our much anticipated trip to Siena! We loved the home, the beautiful and tranquil surroundings, the warm and friendly greeting by the family who own the home; truly everything about our stay! We would love to return! La Scuola is an inviting home in a perfect location--in the gorgeous Tuscan countryside, but just a brief drive to Siena. We loved that we could walk along the road and gaze over the vineyards and olive trees to see Siena in the distance, but also that the Montechiaro wine tasting room was just across the way. The house is lovingly preserved and maintained; the kitchen is fully equipped and if we had been able to stay longer, I would have enjoyed making dinner and eating outside on the patio with the views of the gardens. We never really made use of the beautiful pool, but if we return in hotter weather, I can imagine spending lots of time relaxing pool side. The beds are extremely comfortable. Just perfect!

Beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. A short 15 min walk to the beach and a small bakery nearby to buy breakfast. Very nice host and friendly housekeepers who helped during the stay.

We had an amazing time in the villa from Tommaso. It has all the amenities that you expect from a villa in this price class. The view looking over the valley is beautiful. The communication with the host was very pleasant and swift. As an example; The existing tv got broken in the evening and the next morning Tomasso installed a new one with all the modern features like Apple Airplay. Since the weather was not great the first days you can imagine that this was very nice to have a good working tv. Anyone who is considering renting a villa in the surrounding of San Donato, I highly recommend this villa from Tommaso.

Ilaria’s villa is a comfortable and stylish base from which to explore all the wonders that Maremma has to offer. We are a family of four, and after a couple of weeks in Italy, the kids were craving home-cooked meals, so we spent several hours in the kitchen and dining areas. It was delightful to cook while listening to the kids having fun in the pool. The beds were very comfortable and inviting. The villa is conveniently located near the old town center and several supermarkets. Since we were keen to visit Porto Ercole, Alberese, and Saturnia, we didn’t dedicate as much time to Grosseto as we should have. The old center has a very mellow vibe, and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer. Finally, I want to say a big thank you to Ilaria for being so accommodating and kind. We are already looking forward to returning to your place.

We had a fantastic stay at Concetta's beautiful home! The house itself is gorgeous and traditionally Tuscan. It is also in the most incredible scenery and sitting outside and taking in the view was an absolute joy. However, by far the best thing about our stay was Concetta and her husband Paolo. They could not have done more to make us feel more at home and it honestly felt like we were part of the family while we were there (including making us the most incredible meal, which I would strongly recommend you do if you stay!) Their hospitality, helpfulness and warmth made it feel like a true escape and I could not recommend it more.

Beautiful House and super friendly host.

Our stay felt like something out of a movie. Janine has decorated the home with love and attention to detail. We loved the pool and decided to spend a day doing nothing but lazing by the pool eating home cooked food in the amazing kitchen. Memories were made here and we will 100%. Return for a longer stay as you will not beat the view from Janine’s villa anywhere in Tuscany.

Perfect spot for a Tuscany experience. Nicely located between two friendly villages with fantastic restaurants and any supplies that you may need. The swimming pool was well maintained by Luciano and was used by us multiple times a day, for our group it was a highlight of the property. We all came away very happy with our stay and would totally recommend staying at this property.
