Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Forest

Such a wonderful place for our son’s graduation weekend. Amy’s place was exactly like the photos and as described. Plenty of space for 6 people but also a space for 1 more with a fold out couch. It is located in a safe neighborhood and is easy to get to grocery stores, restaurants and schools. Any was responsive and proactive with check in and checkout instructions. We would definitely stay here again.

A small group of friends and I stayed at Anne’s place for our best friends wedding. Needless to say, this was the perfect spot. Anne’s place was utterly beautiful and peaceful. The house was so cozy and quaint, the family photos on the wall that depicted the home from a different generation made our stay that much more special. We felt so at home and it was the perfect place to unwind and celebrate our friend. Anne went above and beyond by providing us with fresh eggs, juices, and a variety of other breakfast items. Cooking in the rustic kitchen was hands down our favorite part! 10/10 would recommend staying at Anne’s place!

Me and my Family had the pleasure of Booking with Michael, his family home is absolutely beautiful and spacious in a very peaceful area, he was very understanding and very thorough with instructions, Michael's was very helpful and accommodating as me and my family was in need of a place to sleep due to a prior arrangement not working out and he was more than accommodating going above and be and it is much appreciated not to mention that the home was also impeccable, I would definitely recommend Michael's and this property to anyone visiting or in the area, Thank you again

We had such a lovely stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches our hosts provided, which made us feel right at home. We loved the attention to detail that Danielle gave with our particular stay. We were there for a graduation and she included a grad balloon and we also had dogs and she provided a little goodie bag for them and dog bowls, etc. Nice touches!

Such a nice place to stay while visiting family in Lynchburg. The home was clean as a shiny new penny! A very quiet neighborhood and a beautiful wooded area in the back! Very nicely decorated and has everything you would need for your stay. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we rented this location. We enjoy the neighborhood along with the fenced in backyard. We needed a few supplies and they were delivered within a few hours. Very responsive hosts. Will rent again.

Great place to stay all around!

This location at SML is great! Its close to everything including the water. I spent most of my evenings during my stay sitting on the dock and just enjoying the quiet and the scenery. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend renting a boat and just relaxing on the water. This was a great and complaint free experience.

It’s really hard to say adequately how wonderful our stay here was. We were here for our son’s college graduation & military commissioning at Liberty University, which is only about a 15 minute drive but feels worlds away from the chaos of the graduation. We almost didn’t consider this place because of having to share a bathroom with 3 teenagers. But the bathroom was so large, incredibly clean, & had so many towels & towel racks it didn’t feel difficult at all. I sat out on the front porch or on the Adirondack chairs every day. And our family used the covered patio area they built off to the side for several meals with extended family that would pop by. Mike & Alice are fantastic hosts. My husband’s favorite part with how friendly response if they were with anything that we desired, even restocking the waters. I loved the history they put together about the house. It really is such a great place and made our trip incredibly special. So special it may ruin every other Airbnb for us.

This place is perfectly located close to downtown and also to the hospital. It had a lovely deck with wonderful sunset view, great place to enjoy the evening. The bed was comfy and the place was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Bobby was an excellent host, very responsive and great to work with. I will definitely stay at his place again.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay! Gwendolyn was a pleasure to work with, and the home was immaculate and exactly as described. The surroundings are picturesque and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again!

This quirky carriage house easily accommodated our group of seven and made for a wonderful get away.

If you ever get a chance to stay here in Lynchburg, please do! Beth and Terry’s place made us feel completely at home. It was immaculately clean, had all the comforts of home, and showed how much care through all the very well thought out details. It is very spacious, very well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom with anything you can think of, very nice amenities, detailed instructions and helpful tips on the surrounding restaurants. We were here for a very short time but it was an extremely pleasant experience!

My wife and I enjoyed a quick anniversary trip here and we were 10/10 pleased! The room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed. The location is amazing, from the view to the convenience of the pool, and dining. We were even able to rent a boat on site which was very convenient. Overall we had such a fun and relaxing time, and Susan was very easy to work with!

I stayed in the cabin on the river, I must say it was probably the best few days I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful and peaceful set up, not to mention the farm as a whole was amazing. I will definitely be back!

This place was as advertised and a perfect peaceful getaway with cows within yards of the cabin. Wil was also a very gracious host and made our stay well worth it.

We were looking for a cabin, hoping to find a quiet place to rest, relax and recharge in nature. We never dreamed that we would find an authentic 18th century cabin located in the forest on a mountain top - with an excellent view of the surrounding mountains. The inside of the cabin was beautifully furnished as would be expected in colonial Virginia. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the experience of stepping back in time.

Our stay at Hat Creek Camp was short but exceptional. I wondered if we would have enough to do outside of wind down, which was our primary goal. I had no phone service on my apple which was fine with me. My husband’s Samsung had a signal, go figure. We were there to disconnect and let our dog run free. I’ve never seen her so happy, jumping in the lake and stream. Time flew walking the trails, being on the lake, barbecuing and just sitting by the fire pit. I thought we’d need cards but there was no time. The cabin was small but clean. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t supplied. I wondered why past reviewers mentioned the bed but it was comfy enough to mention. My dog cried after we were gone 10 minutes on our way home. Thought she needed to potty but after a break and 3 hrs home she never went. I think she was missing camp and didn’t want to leave. I know we didn’t.

Cabin was amazing to stay at, everything was prefect and the host had everything perfectly organized and had many different things for us to use. Such as games, hot tub , grilling supplies, fire pit. It was a great time and my wife and I enjoyed it. It is really close to the city, the food around the cabin was amazing. The people in the area were very kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend going here.

This place is truly a rare find. The house is immaculately kept and is situated on a waterfall and nestled in the woods. It was perfect. Rhonda thought of everything and was so thoughtful and kind. We will be back!!

Great space and location! Given the space in this modern cabin, it had everything that we needed. We loved the privacy and remoteness, as well as the nearby trails.
