Waterfront holiday rentals in Fort Augustus

Kevin's apartment was absolutely fabulous. 4 of us (2 couples) were very comfortable there and really pleased with pretty much everything about it!! The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and has brilliant views of Spey Bay and Lossiemouth East Beach. The listing details are very accurate and pretty much anything we needed was available in the apartment. Good restaurants were in easy walking distance and there was ample parking for our cars at the apartment. Kevin was very helpful regarding check in and apartment access and was very responsive to any questions we had. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, central, stay on the Moray Coast - and hope to come back again in future!!

Very happy with our stay in Fort William. Daniel was a fantastic host… he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend staying at this spot if you want to be close to everything in Fort William.

We loved our stay in Inverness at Rebecca's apartment. Amazing location right on the river and easy walking across the footbridge to centre of town. Free parking on the street was a bonus and good communication to make check-in easy. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had all the necessary items to cook. We even managed a load of washing! Highly recommend.

Sarah’s cozy, clean home was so comfortable and practical! The beds were so comfy! Our hostess was very responsive to any inquiries we gave her. Having the crib/ cot already set up for us was such a hospitable touch. We loved taking our morning coffee in the cozy window seat and soaking in the stunning views!

Great local, walkable to all areas in Oban, even grocery store was a less than 5 min walk. Fantastic views of Oban bay. Apt had all the comforts of home. Comfortable beds and large rooms. Loved the extras such as fresh fruit, coffee and chocolates. Also great appliances.

Brilliant stay in a fabulous location, Having stayed in the area for over 10 years on fishing trips this is the best, absolutely spotless lovely and cosy with views to die for, be it wildlife or weather watching (seen otters on the last day) it’s hard to move from the sofa or even put the tv on looking out the big picture window also it has the comfiest bed ever. The location is also excellent being close to Oban for restaurants, shopping etc but also for a lovely drives north to Glencoe etc also 2 mins away from the fabulous beach at Ledaig with its amazing views. Lovely little touches too, flowers and welcome pack with shortbread, tea, coffee milk and sugar to get you started. Will definitely be returning If I can loved it x.

The room is nice, but it's close to the road, and we're old and don't sleep well.Nighttime traffic noise affects sleep.But the scenery here is great, suitable for young people.Nice place to stay,

Lovely little house, Ideal local in the village and lots of lovely places locally to visit. The house is well equipped with all the essentials you need,beds lovely and comfortable,large garden area which suited us with the dogs Would go back tomorrow,the view every morning when you get up will not be forgotten

Rachel’s place is a wonderful place to stay. Terrific location, bright, clean, stylish, and a lovely view. The main road does pass close by but we didn’t notice noise . Would definitely recommend .

The promise of the view was fabulous and we were not disappointed. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded place, this is the place. It is not perfectly placed if you are looking for tourist places to visit but the place is enough for itself for a few nights and it is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the calm. The bedrooms and living rooms are very beautiful and well decorated. Thank you for providing a beautiful home like this.

We felt right at home in Josephine’s home in Dornie. It was a perfect home base for driving to Kyle, Isle of Skye, and some of the smaller towns nearby. The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Josephine was great at giving recommendations for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay!

Absolute perfection- already trying to find dates to return. Beds were extremely comfortable, the place was completely spotless, property extensively spacious and the views! Oh my god, the views! Kitchen well catered for- Inc a Bosch coffee machine you should buy pods for. There is also a Webber kettle bbq outside. Hot tub was modern and just such a treat after the Glen Tarken hike. David's place was our favourite during this one week holiday in Scotland. The location is amazing and seeing the water from the livingroom and bedroom windows was wonderful. However, what made it stand apart from other accommodations was the interior design: every single space inside the house is tasteful and cosy, and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. Everything was clean and the quality of towels, soaps and shower gels are five star hotel level. David and Amanda are great hosts, very friendly and thoughtful, and it is evident that the comfort of their guests is their priority - also, we were delighted to meet them in person. We were sorry to leave after only one day there and will be happy to go back when next in Scotland.

We loved the quiet rural setting on the loch with colours changing in the light all day long. The villages and towns in the area had some good restaurants and we found many places for long walks. The facilities at the house were adequate for cooking and leisure. The only downside, which did not affect us really, were some peculiarities that we've never before encountered in the many airBNBs we have rented in the past: several rooms, closets and cupboards were locked and off-limits; and many rather unnecessary "polite advice" signs posted. In our previous experience, the number of guests has had no effect on access.

Exactly as advertised. Views to die for over Oban Harbour, looking out towards Mull. Three flights of stairs, but worth it for the views. Great to experience a part of local Oban history being inside the wonderful Times building. Love Oban and enjoyed eating at EE-USK which is literally opposite the apartment. Parking was easy at the North Pier car park also.

I stayed at Sandra's place with two friends from Friday to Monday and found it to be extremely pleasant! Good location, only a 15/20 minute walk to Inverness center. The apartment is lovely and we all felt right at home - absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks Sandra! :)

Lovely, quick stay on the way of Rob Roy Way. All you need for one night. Beautiful views, nice hot shower, kettle, fridge with milk for coffee and instant porridge for breakfast. Joanna is a great, friendly host. Thank you

We had a great stay at South Erradale and enjoyed meeting Onie and Ally, and their lovely new puppy! The flat is perfect for exploring the local area and we couldn’t recommend it more. Be sure to enjoy the local walks

Apartment in a lovely location and has a beautiful view over the loch. Spacious, very clean and well appointed.

This was a great location. Oban distillery was right around the corner. Lots of great restaurants as we were right in the center of town. The place was a lot roomier than what it looks like in the pictures!

Our stay at Angela's place was nothing short of perfect. The cottage was adorable, clean, and had everything you needed to be comfortable. Nice added touch was fresh flowers and some fruit and goodies upon our arrival. It was in a great location close to the Citi center, and grocery store right around the corner. The only thing I will say is that it took a little getting used to when locking and unlocking the front door. Angela left very clear instructions on how to do this, but it still seemed difficult... we eventually got the hang of it, and it wasn't an issue after a couple days. The cottage was very quiet, even though it's so close to the Citi center. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would not hesitate to stay there again!
