With only 7 minutes by car is Freimarka where there are opportunities for cross country skiing during the winter months and great hiking trails with Bolgavannet which is close by. Both a travel cot and a high chair are available. Recommended to have a car.

The charging path just outside stretches all the way to Nyhavna in the city center. There are good swimming possibilities in the immediate area, including: Hansbakkfjæra, Grilstadfjæra and the Bay of Vära. Lots of playgrounds right outside the door. From Grilstad Marina there is a short drive to the city center of Trondheim and several large campuses such as NTNU.

We offer you a separate small newly renovated guesthouse with a kitchen and living room in one, separate bedroom and toilet. OUTDOOR SHOWER (please look at the pictures so you know what to expect). Cozy cabin - close to Røros

Take your family to this homey cottage where you can relax and explore nearby activities. Large and sunny! Here you can new silence, light a fire on the fire pit, or light a larger fire by the lean-to - summer and winter. The cabin is well located for year-round trips both towards Hessdalen, Rugldalen, Røros, Tydalen/Riasten. In the winter one can also put on your skis for a cross country ski trip or "ski in and out" down to Ålen Ski Center. The cabin is fully equipped for a nice weekend.

In beautiful Bakklandet (Free parking)

We love our apartment, placed as it is in the middle of Trondheims old town. There is one private parking space in a locked garage which are available to you for free (value €40 a night). It is not available in November 2025. There is also a large private terrace with access from the living room available. The apartment is practical and well equipped with nice beds. Pls notice that this apartment is not a professionally rent out. We only rent to families, grown ups and business travelers.

Welcome to Trondheim and Bakklandet! Here you live in the heart of the city within walking distance to the centre. A quiet place. Perfect for those traveling alone, or couples. From the living room there is a lovely view to Nidaros Cathedral. Bakklandet is Trondheim's coziest place. There are cafes, restaurants and small shops here. You find groceries three minutes walk away, 7 minutes walk to bus stop. Free parking. Bymarka with good hiking/skiing conditions 20 minutes away.

NEW modern apartment at Solsiden

This apartment-building has (maybe?) the best possible location in Trondheim, and was finished in 2018. You can easily walk to the old part of town (Bakklandet), citycenter and Solsiden. My apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator), and is about 45m2. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including a coffee-machine. There will be bedsheets, towels, iron, hairdryer ect. available. The busstop "Bakklandet" takes your directly to the airport. Big shared rooftop :-)
