We had a great stay in Ålen. The place was a perfect fit for those of us who would be on the slalom, as the house is so to say the slopes. And the host were really really really nice. We would love to come back 😊

Tidy and spacious home perfect for a family. Kitchen with all facilities. We all enjoyed ourselves. Perfect with parking outside and a short way to the field and the bus to the city. Freddy responded quickly to any questions and was the perfect host for us.

Stayed at the house during the World Cup in Trondheim. Great location, a little out of the city, but fine with bus and taxi. We had a great time, and a great World Cup!

Really a place to recommend :) Especially if you are a big family like us, the house was big and very spacious. Very good outdoor area for barbecuing and cuddling. Birgitte as a host was great, always helpful and responded quickly to messages.

We were 5 people who wanted to stay well for a week in/byTrondheim. Alternatively, one hotel but we rather chose to stay here. We don't think about it. New great single-family home with everything in order. For a nice price and very nice host. We had a car and used it. If you don't, the bus is close by and walking distance to the colonial shop. Can easily recommend staying here. 😊👌👍

Stayed at this beautiful place for a month. Wow, a veranda on 2 sides, 1 of which facing the lake. Windows from the living room give very nice views over the mountains and the lake and the cabin has a huge cozy, warm look. It didn't get dark at night, enjoyed the beautiful skies (rose - purple - orange), the never-sighted couple playing at night in the lake and talking to each other, the ducks, neighbor cat staring at us on a rock and the other cat who liked to walk along, seen several deer - with little ones, and so many birds seen and heard. The fireplace was blissful, kitchen spacious, nice bedroom, blissful sofa to look out. Ingunn is great host. She also helped me a lot with tips for my 2 month trip. And super easily accessible. Thank you Ingunn for everything! I enjoyed it.

Great accommodation, everything very clean and in good condition, very polite hostess, great atmosphere, you feel at home, well equipped and for breakfast coffee, tea, muesli and cornflakes are available, the accommodation is about 8 km from the Atlantic Road. Would stay there again anytime.

We spent five nights in the cabin of Liese to visit the mountains of Oppdal and Dovrefjell National Park. We felt right at home and had a great time. We would love to come back.

We had a great time when we stayed here during the Christmas market in Røros. Everything was super cosy and Lindsay was super helpfull. Also she was caring if we have everything. Nature is beautiful the house. 🙂

Lovely hytte in beautiful Oppdal.

There are only positive things to say about Jon as a host. Friendly and helpful, always responded quickly to messages. And the place is just as expected, only in even more beautiful surroundings. A well-functioning and cozy decorated shed. We had only booked for a day, but we would have liked to stay longer, we all agreed. The location close to the city by car was a big plus. Quiet surroundings with beautiful views of the water. We would gladly came again.

We had a wonderful stay for more than a week in the cabin. We didn't expected that the cabin was equipped so well. Drinking water coming from the moutain can be fetched just around 20 meters away. There was a gas stove and a simple kitchen for cooking and when there was good weather we could do BBQ over the open fire. The toilet was as good as expected under the circumstances. The cabin lies at the end of a gravel trail and you need around 10-15 minutes to get there. It is possible but a bit of work to get suitcases to the cabin. Especially the last meters where you have to carry your luggage up a small hill where the cabin is located. The area is fantastic. There are very many fishing lakes around where it is also possible to rent small boats. The license and the boat rentals can be bought over inature (search for "Ørret og røykefiske i Osen kommune" and "båt til leie i Bjørnør statsallmening"). Åse Marie also provided us with firewood, which we had to pay for small money.

We spent New Year in the cabin and went skiing, mostly in Vagnslia. It's obvious that the cabin is used very privately by the host for it feels very snug and is fully equipped for living in but without it feeling like you're clearing into someone's privacy. It's easy to relax enjoy your time off here. The road to and from the cabin quickly feels exciting when there is a snow storm. Would love to come here again.
