Monthly Rentals in Frangokastello

We were here for 1 week and immediately felt very comfortable 🥰 Theo and his family live next door, which gave us a very personable and familiar feeling. The apartment is very close to the beach, so you can also hop into the water for a short time. We enjoyed the area very much. You should definitely look at the mountains when you're here. There are also many taverns where we were warmly welcomed everywhere. There is the possibility to do various things, for example boat tours or quad tours. However, a car is absolutely necessary. We already miss Frangokastello, it won't be our last time!

We had a wonderful time in the nice cottage and the beautiful swimming pool overlooking the sea and the robust mountains. Dimitra and Kostas are very sweet and hospitable and respond very quickly to questions. This beautiful place is highly recommended even without a car because there is a delicious taverna within walking distance on a small but quiet beach where you can chill under the tree and a supermarket with a nice terrace across the street . Even our little dog enjoyed it. A top location

Nice apartment, about 30 m to the (rocky) "private" beach with sun loungers. Sandy beach to the left of the apartment, about 50 m away. Quiet environment, good taverns nearby, also shopping. Vasili always responded quickly to questions, warm welcome and farewell by the mother-in-law - a fruit basket (own oranges), pastries and own honey was ready at reception, water (and 2 beers!) were in the fridge. If you like to spend your holidays in a quiet environment and do not need entertainment, this is the place for you.

Amazing place with wonderful sea views from all rooms and 3 balconies, with private parking and direct access to the large and peaceful beach. It was perfect for the kids. We had the pleasure of tasting the homemade goat cheese. Cooking at home is easy and there are several tavernas nearby. Hiking trails are a short drive away and we spent a day in Loutro by boat from Hora Sfakion. Running to Frangokastello was a lovely morning 5km trail. The route we took down the mountain from the north Chania is incredibly beautiful and in perfect conditions. We hope to return soon!
