Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Franklin County

This house has been very well taken care of with nicely preserved midcentury details. My brothers and I really enjoyed our time there. Frankfurt is a relaxed city with amazing historical interest. We enjoyed golf, disc golf, and, of course, the local distilleries. The surrounding countryside is exactly what you would hope for in coming to Kentucky: ample rolling green hills and luxurious stables.

Absolutely loved this getaway! This property was perfect for a quick family weekend in Frankfort. The property was close to restaurants, grocery stores and of course, the bourbon trail. The space was beautifully decorated, clean and so comfortable. We loved the amenities and the master bed was so comfortable— I slept like a baby! Kyle was an amazing host and offered great recommendations for attractions, restaurants, etc and was proactive and responsive. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had in a while— thank you again!!!

We had a lovely relaxing time, the place was set up very well. We enjoyed the surroundings especially all the deer in the yard. We will be back to enjoy Jason’s place and the local bourbon again!!

Well, our group of 9 had an enjoyable time in this home! It was as advertised and extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. Cindy was just the sweetest and most respectful host always available to answer questions or give recommendations. Close to great distilleries and downtown Frankfort with cute shops and dining. The pool and hot tub were clean and working and the home was well stocked with basic necessities. Highly recommended and can't wait to come back!

This was the perfect place to stay on the Bourbon Trail. We had 7 people and the house was spacious and the perfect place to relax after beibg out all day. Bonus it is 5 minutes from Buffalo Trace, making it easier to get in line for a speciality run in the morning!

We have stayed here three times now. Carlos is a wonderful host we will be back. The beds are comfy and it feels like home away from home. We walked over to a little bar and grill on the corner it was all very nice. 5☆☆☆☆☆experience

Lauren’s home was extraordinary. The view overlooking the river was gorgeous. The patio and even the neighborhood cat were some of our favorite memories. The house itself was spotless and so inviting. My only regret was I didn’t book a longer stay! All her recommendations were spot on. There was so much to experience within a 15-20 minute radius. We most definitely will be staying here again.

This home is amazing! Brian goes to great lengths to make everything about staying here a 5 star experience. The home is luxurious and has many thoughtful details. Even though the home is right in downtown Frankfort, it is peaceful and serene once inside. My wife and I loved sitting on the back patio nestled right next to the Kentucky River. It is just a short walk to many restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. If I go back to Frankfort, this is the place I want to stay.

What a great apartment! This two bedroom space was exactly what we needed for a long weekend in Lexington. The space was clean and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed, and each bedroom was clean, with comfortable beds and TV. The street was private and we had a pass to park on the street. We bopped over the Java Jukebox for breakfast and highly recommend. John’s apartment was close to everything we needed. Would totally stay again!

I planned a surprise trip for my wife and I and we loved the location we stayed in. It was centrally located between the activities I had planned out. We would love to stay here again. Very peaceful and quiet location with fenced horse paddocks all around us. Nice change of pace.

What a beautiful spot! The home was extremely well taken care of and walkable to the downtown area with restaurants and shops. Jason and Toni were incredibly responsive. Wish we were able to stay longer!

We absolutely loved this airbnb. We felt at home and private. Loved that Sarah allowed us to walk the farm, feed the horses, and ask questions. She had little extras like coffee, creamers, snacks, soaps. Everything was really great.

I am astonished by the attention to every detail in this home. The hosts went out of their way to make aure every single detail was covered. I loved that we got to listen to the playlist while we hiked the trail. We enjoyed a fire and just got to truly soak in the peace and quiet. inside and outside the home. Wonderful hosts and beautiful property. We will be back to visit

We loved our time at the Gopher Wood cabin! It was a great spot to unwind after our busy days at the Ark Encounter (20 min drive) and the Creation Museum (1 hour drive). The bird watching was on point and the valley was very peaceful. The place was just like the pictures, and everything was very clean. We would stay there again!

This house and property is beautiful! We had such an amazing weekend. We love about an hour away and wanted to get away to the lake for our anniversary. Carolyn’s place did not disappoint! From the cozy beds and linens to the fully stocked kitchen and everything in between we felt truly at home. The space is open and airy and feels like you belong. The hosts have thought of it all. We spent 90% of our time outside on the deck or on the dock. It rained a good amount of the time but we still had a blast because the deck is fully covered. So much wildlife!! There’s a baby snapping turtle that lives in the yard and on the dock and deer were everywhere. The kayaks were a lot of fun too! This definitely won’t be our last visit here!

We really enjoyed this cute cabin and it was perfect for our Kentucky bourbon Trail. Very clean and James was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us very useful info. Friendly dogs and cats that roamed around.

My little dog and I adored staying at the cabin. The farm setting was gorgeous! The cabin was modern yet quaint at the same time. It’s a little off the beaten path but that’s the point, isn’t it? It’s really just a few minutes south of the interstate, but it feels far removed from all that hustle and bustle. Even if you are just stopping for the night, this is an experience worth so much more than just a place to sleep. The farm animals are all friendly and it was a delight to see them. Kimberly responded to my questions within minutes, not that I had many. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

the place is better than it looks on the pictures I think you do feel right at home I walked in and it even smelled nice. this place is great she has been so kind to me she has worked with me I accidentally damaged some property and working with their family was fantastic no judgment or anger. Any question I had she got back with me within a 1 to 2 hour time period sooner most of the time actually. you will love it I don't need to know what you're looking for you could be looking for anything in a stay and you'll find it here.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely very private and far away from stores & restaurants so plan accordingly. We only stayed one night but were so sad to leave. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in & all of them were the same great quality. We let the neighbors use the fire-pit, but there was a smaller heater on the porch that was great to pull chairs & hang out by. Everything about this place was perfect!

Beautiful, private place to relax and enjoy Bourbon County! The kitchen came fully loaded with everything you need and the full sized refrigerator was nice as well. My only regret is that we didn't have enough time to take advantage of the kayaks! My husband did through a few casts in the pond and caught a few fishes.
