Cabin holiday rentals in French Creek

This place is beautiful highly recommend I went away from my 26th birthday and I’m so glad that I picked this place such a calming getaway from 40+ hour work weeks the cabin is immaculate in the woods and extremely beautiful and relaxing. Ksenia is also really nice and super responsive and helpful. we honestly didn’t have to reach out much because she already thought of it all!

The cabin is beautiful. It is definitely not for people taller than 5'5 there is not much space between the floor and ceiling. The decorations are absolutely gorgeous. It was pretty quiet however there were a lot of other cabins/houses on the property which is not listed in the details of the ad. The hot tub didn't stay hot so we only used it once. I would definitely recommend fixing it or replacing it for future guests. Other than those two minor details Skippers cabin is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved Greg's place!! 😍 It was nice to go off grid and have a peace without the electronic world always connected.

This cabin is truly "a little bit of heaven" from the peaceful setting to the beauty of nature in early spring. We were able to fish as desired and rest and relax when at the cabin. Kitchen was fully equipped so meals at the cabin were easy. So quiet and swing on front porch set the mood for "front porch sitting".

Beautiful house, good value for the money. In a valley next to a stream with mountains all around on each side. Hot tub was great. Main downside is the sound proofing on the inside - sound carried from the main living area into almost all the other rooms.

Merry Jo's place was a beautiful, clean and comfortable mountain home with stunning views. It is extremely private and peaceful (I think we saw one vehicle during our stay), and a great place to relax, meditate, and refresh. True escape! We saw deer daily and enjoyed the hiking nearby. It is close to restaurants (Davis, WVa) but the kitchen was well-stocked and we did cook out a few times. Merry Jo is a wonderful host, and she is quick to answer all of our questions, etc. We highly recommend and hope to visit again in the near future.

Beautiful rustic cabin along the river! Peaceful surroundings, a bit hard to find off the road (which is a good thing) and nice amenities like hot tub and grill. Our family had a great time enjoying Elkins and the Forest Festival hanging out with close relatives and friends! thanks Tiffany!

My recent stay at this Airbnb was an absolute dream! The location was so peaceful and beautiful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The scenery was breathtaking, and the air was fresh and clean. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Matthew (the host). He were incredibly attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed and offering helpful suggestions for local spots to explore. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. I can't recommend this Airbnb enough for anyone looking for a serene getaway with a host who genuinely cares!

It was our first time camping, and we had an amazing time. The forest was beautiful and our kids had a blast playing in the river. Vince and his friends were very outgoing and made us feel right home. Thanks for everything!

Despite renting this cabin in the dead of winter, leading to frozen pipes and being buried in snow, this stay was just what I needed to get away for a little while with my dog. Xavier notified me in advance of the pipes and there being no water, but made it work by providing ample drinking and flushing water. The mini split heater and an electric heater kept the cabin comfortable, but the wood stove cabin probably would have been more ideal in this weather. The family who lives near the property was extremely attentive to my needs and made me feel welcomed and safe. Bonus points for adorable goats, chickens, and cats on the property. I hope to come back in better weather to enjoy the trail and lake.

Hummingbirds visited throughout the day, adding magic to an already peaceful stay. The river was stunning and calming, perfect for morning coffee or evening reflection. The house was spotless, thoughtfully decorated with a consistent, charming theme. We loved how secluded and private the location felt, yet we were just a short drive from great restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and outdoor adventures. A perfect blend of nature and comfort—would definitely return!

This was such a great find for a relaxing stay! Peter was helpful in every way possible. The home is tastefully decorated and clean. Plenty of supplies for cooking. A nice deck is on the back of the home tucked quietly in the woods!

This was a wonderful weekend we had with our family and this stay made it a lot more meaningful and memorable. We all enjoyed the place.

This place was exactly as it was described, even more beautiful than pictures can capture! There were clear instructions for everything! They go above and beyond to make this place feel like home. I wish I could have stayed longer. I don't know that I will ever be back to WV, but if I do make it back, I am definitely seeking out this cabin! Thank you for providing such a beautiful home for my family to make memories in.

we loved the cabin, we needed a peaceful getaway and we love cabins getaways. Kevin was an awesome host, he was easy to contact and answer all our questions.The cabin felt cozy and we loved having the stream right off the deck. only 1 thing we would change...the bed felt small and mattress hard. But for 2 nights we could deal with that. Over all an enjoyable getaway.

We stayed in this beautiful cabin for five nights. The surroundings were so pretty and very private. We saw lots of deer, wild turkeys, and had an owl lull us to sleep for two nights. It rained for a couple of days but the front porch swing was nice and dry. We’re from Florida and the evenings were chilly to us. We had a fire in the buck stove one night and it was wonderful. They had fire starters in a bottom kitchen cabinet and they and the firewood on the porch is included in the booking fee. They also have two heaters that worked perfectly to take the chill off. We were having a large family function and did a lot of candy making for that so the stove and refrigerator being full sized were perfect for us. We met our host Michael on our last morning there. He’s a super nice guy and told us more about the area. We actually didn’t want to leave. It’s great that there is a super comfy recliner. Both ends of the couch recliner also. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want a beautiful place to unplug and relax this is it. At least it was until the day before we left then neighbors show up and turn on music outside loudly then leave with it still on and do not come back. But that is not host fault. We loved watching the deer that came very close to house. River was very peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck. Host was very up front about WiFi it does come and go but that didn’t bother us at all.

Had the best time with my family and loved the house & natural light in the home. Would stay again! 🤍

We went for snow and were not disappointed. It was so fun gliding down the hills just outside the door. You must know if you go in the winter, you need 4wd and it helps to be comfortable with winter driving conditions. lol I was so nervous as a Ga girl! Also, if you want to go up to Snowshoe, take the shuttle. That’s the only place there’s anything to do. EXCEPT the Kickin Chicken… Good food! We had a great time!
