Holiday rentals with a kayak in Friesland

I highly commend Suzans and Martin's house. Large, comfortable, equipped with everything you could ask for, and with wide windows overlooking manicured lawns on two sides, it was almost too difficult to leave the house to explore the area. But we left and enjoyed our excursions to Giethoorn and Urk very much. Martin made the takeover and return of the house relaxed and uncomplicated. My family and I highly recommend this house.

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt at home from the second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. We didn't lack anything during our stay. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.

Delightfully enjoyed our weekend away. Upon arrival, Sandra welcomed us and brought us eggs from her own chickens. The sauna and jacuzzi were wonderful and the cottage was super nicely decorated! Repeatable :).

We had a great stay at the flat! We loved the view and really enjoyed the balcony.

Just a wonderful week behind us in this cottage. Wonderful surroundings by the water. Quite private in terms of neighbors, but quite a few boats that pass by. The teenagers enjoyed themselves with the canoe, the weather was really a gift this week. Super nice that there are screens for everything, slept wonderfully with windows open. Everything has been thought of, in terms of kitchen furnishings but also in terms of amenities such as washing machine, extra blankets, etc. Tip: if you are here, take the pound to the other side (bring cash) to explore the village but especially to sit by the water on the terrace. The only thing we regretted is that we actually wanted to rent a boat but were late with that. Furthermore, it is a wonderful environment where you can discover nature (all the feans) but also Burgum and Dokkum are recommended. In short: super successful vacation and nice cottage!

We spent a week in the accommodation, the apartment is very nicely designed and very well equipped. The environment is great for a quiet stay in the countryside, especially if you just want to relax and get out of everyday life. Yasmin was always helpful and very friendly and always responded very quickly 😊 All in all, it was a very nice week for my girlfriend, our dog and me, thank you very much for that ☀️

We had a very nice stay at Renske's. Everything was clean and as described. The only slightly negative thing was that in the living room the light was a little dark in the evening to play something.

What a wonderful place Pean Outside is! Beautiful, warm, cozy cottages, built with an eye for nature and the surroundings. Beautiful views, the food forest, an eye for nature & environment (building material of the cottages, waste separation, food reuse, cottages built on "poles", bird feed spots etc)...everything is thought of. Natasja is also a nice, welcoming host, with an eye for her guests. I'll definitely be back here!

Everything was very good.

We had a great stay in the tiny house. Mariska is a nice host with great communication. Highly recommended. Another culinary tip: eat at the Grand Cafe Kade. Delicious fish, top service.

Communication was great! The cottage has a wonderfully quiet charm and falling asleep in front of the fireplace was very comforting. We rented a sailing jolt and spent all day on the water! Everything was super flexible. Natasja is very open and friendly to the hosts. I look forward to coming back soon, but then for a longer time!

We loved our time at Pean! It was beautiful, serene, and the house looked exactly like the pictures. I was happy to see the map of the community ahead of time so we could find our house (we arrived after dark) but they were also very proactive ahead of time in explaining how to find it. The fireplace was wonderful- very cozy and they provide some wood to start you off with. (They also sell more on location if you don’t want to bring your own.) And we took advantage of the floating sauna- easy to book, clean, and nice view of the night sky. Our kids loved the play area and assorted outdoor toys. Our dogs were thrilled to join us on vacation (by the way- pristine clean- we couldn’t tell other dogs had ever been!) All in all- we were very pleased and we would highly recommend it.

Had a wonderful time in The Blue Cottage. Beautiful location, enjoyed the view and the lake. The cottage is small but nice and everything you can think of is present. It is beautiful to enjoy the outdoors on the spacious terrace. With outdoor shower. Ina is a welcoming, kind and caring host. Recommended this cottage!

beautiful eco-lodge with all the comforts in a beautiful location. there are trampolines, a playground, kayaks, go-karts and a fire pit. always something to do.

We were an hour early, but no problem at all! We were already able to get into the room. Otherwise wonderfully clean! In the morning a nice breakfast. Great stay.

The place is just beautiful! The house is furnished with great attention to detail and corresponds exactly to the pictures – everything is perfectly clean and well maintained. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and the beds are super cozy. The terrace is a particular highlight – ideal for relaxing after a day in nature. The area around the house is also very nice and pleasantly quiet. With the in-house canoes, you can discover the Weerribben-Wieden National Park and enjoy the breathtaking nature to the fullest. The popular town of Giethoorn is also just a short drive away and definitely worth a visit. The host Timo is incredibly nice, helpful and always available. Check-in and check-out were straightforward and smooth. We felt completely comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time at this magnificent house right on the water! The property offers an exceptional amount of space and is superbly equipped – ideal for larger groups. We were received in a very friendly manner and immediately felt at home. It was also particularly convenient to rent a boat right in front of the house. Our entire group was thrilled, and we'd love to come back. We highly recommend this house to any group looking for a lot of space and comfort!

Cosy, welcoming, just like home. It‘s the right place to calm down from hectic business days in the city. Time seems to stand still, while relaxing by the fire place and enjoying the pure natural surrounding. Regeneration starts right at arrival and lasts to the seconds of departure, as no complicated check-in or check-out procedure awaits you here. I‘ll come back for sure.

We had a lovely two-day weekend getaway with our children, aged 8 and 9. They absolutely loved it! The house was incredibly charming and peaceful. Despite the 0°C temperature outside, it was perfectly warm and cozy inside. We’re already thinking of coming back during the summer months to enjoy it again. The only downside was that the bed linens needed to be rented separately. We brought our own, but putting them on and taking them off was a bit of a hassle. :)
