House holiday rentals in Frisia

Lovely cottage for a week away with our toddler. Beautiful quiet park and wooded area. The garden of the cottage offers all kinds of nice playgrounds for children, so you can sit quietly as a parent.

We were there in June, four of us – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes away by car.

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful airbnb in a forested location; peaceful and quiet. There is ample seating outside to enjoy the natural surroundings. It’s a very charming place to stay; we loved it!

An all-round great house in the holiday park de Krim. The house is in a quiet location, but also very central. The center of the park is only a few minutes' walk away, which is great with smaller children. The contact with Gerdi is very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a really nice vacation on Texel and would love to come back.

It was a fantastic accommodation, no human soul there, whether dog or human we could move freely. Everything was clean and everything you need was there. We felt very comfortable. The hot tub was the absolute highlight:-))) Will definitely be back

It was a nice relaxing weekend all around. The house is a dream … everything you need. The garden was so lovingly designed and the barefoot path my personal highlight. The hosts very nice and warm. We'd love to come back. 😍

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

The stay was beautiful. The location of the house allows excursions throughout Schleswig-Holstein. You can quickly get to the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. In the house is really everything to satisfy the highest standards. Rarely do you find such a beautiful, tasteful and high-quality furnished accommodation. The two of us felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house has been furnished with attention to detail. The bed was amazingly cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Highly recommended for a relaxing short trip 😊

I had a fantastic stay in this apartment! It is not only beautifully furnished and clean, but also perfectly equipped. I was even able to bake here undisturbed for the wooden wedding of friends. Absolutely recommended.

Only one night, but full of impressions. Rysum welcomed us with its quiet beauty, and the "Alte Bäckerei" was a very special place to arrive and feel good. Furnished with a lot of love and a lot of taste, the listed house radiates a warm, honest atmosphere - you can feel its history. And for me as a person trained in the craft, I particularly liked the artistic master's certificate of the former resident, when I compare it with my dry journeyman's certificate (but also almost 100 years later). Thank you for this little break in a great place and a great village.

We were a family of five adults and a five-month-old baby for a week in the old painter's house of Christin and Willi. We had a very nice time in the house and were able to enjoy the quiet garden directly on the water in good weather, especially in the first days, and watch the cows grazing on the other side of the water. But even with the bad weather in the second half of the week, we had it very cozy in the house in the spacious living room with fireplace. The location is wonderfully quiet for relaxing or taking walks along the dike. For our baby, Christin and Willi even provided us with a travel cot. The communication with the two was great, they were always helpful and with good tips (e.g. the trip to Groningen was very worthwhile). Everything in the house was also very clean and well maintained. All in all, the perfect accommodation for a family getaway. We will be happy to come back!

The house is stunning, equipped, kitchen, rooms, all the facilities are of a high standard. Very suitable for family. The area is quiet and green, birds chirping, a real pleasure for nature lovers. The hosts are available for any questions, help, and recommendations at an exceptional level.

We had a wonderful weekend with our son (8) in Johannes' cottage. What attention has been paid to the construction and furnishing of this cottage, wonderfully how many details Johannes has managed to add, we recognized objects that our grandmother used to cook with or that were in her kitchen. The beds are comfortable, the cottage is equipped with every comfort. Bicycles are available, but you can also go many ways from here by car. We hope to come back again to see more of the area.

A dream vacation It was a wonderful and relaxing time... Watching the dragon festival and keeping your feet in the sea and then relaxing in the very well-kept sauna after an eventful day and then relaxing with a card game on the couch with a glass of wine; always felt at home. Everything was super well maintained and clean, which was very important to us. The communication with the host was very good and easy. Really highly recommended

We had a wonderful week. The house has all the comforts, including a very nice kitchen. The sun in the front garden was also nice, where we could have had a quiet breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, so we were really able to sleep very well. In the area we enjoyed the nature, the tranquility and the friendly people. The reception was warm and personal, even our dog Bettie received a warm welcome. All in all recommended, we will definitely come back there. Finally, I would also like to mention Dokkum, a very nice town with special shops and good restaurants. Thank you Coen and Anne (and Marianne) for this beautiful, nice week. We felt very comfortable right away and as three couples including a small child, we had everything we needed, enough space and a kitchen that left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back :)

We enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic time in Midwolde. It was easy to start our bike tours from here. The sauna and all other amenities were outstanding! A very tasteful intererior design. The beds were so comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay!

We felt very comfortable! Particularly positive to highlight: Hotze got us bicycles and brought them to the accommodation as well as picked them up again! Also a small attention (juice, snacks, chocolate) on arrival made us feel immediately comfortable! Great view from the terrace, everything very clean! We will be happy to come back!

A trip to the countryside with a view of horse paddocks. We spent a weekend there with 5 people, and would come back. One day we were in Hamburg, another by the sea. The hot tub is a highlight, just like the sunny terrace and well-equipped kitchen. We felt at home and would keep coming back.
