In winter, if you plan to arrive late, please let me know so we can turn up the heating earlier. The tourist tax is €1.50 per person per day, payable in cash.

It is just five minutes away the motorway although you can not see or hear it. For those who like shopping the Outlet Centre can be reached in less then 10 minutes. Futhermore you will have the opportunity to try the great variety of restaurants in the area. Chiarano is a small town but with all that you need and more.

The house is located in Valbruna, a small and quiet village in the Valcanale, close to the Julian Alps. It is a short walk from the center of the village and is a strategic starting point for the naturalistic and historical excursions that Val Saisera offers. In the village, there is a grocery store for basic necessities, a few hundred meters from the house. A supermarket is 4 kilometers towards Tarvisio. One km from Valbruna are the accesses to the AlpeAdria cycle path.

From the large window of the Friland house, the gaze opens onto the Tagliamento and the Val d'Arzino, which in winter become even more essential and silent, between clear sunrises and sunsets with cold and intense colors. The Castle is located in a quiet country village 15 minutes from Treviso and 30 minutes from Venice, 30 km from the beaches and served by public transport. Inside, there's a winery that sells locally produced wines.
