Holiday rentals with a patio in Funchal

Very nice and quiet accommodation, for the fact that there is a lot going on in the surrounding streets. The condo is well equipped. Parking is available to a limited extent and is actually intended for residents. Only the beds squeaked quite a bit with every movement and there were plenty of mosquitoes. A suitable net may be available in front of the bedroom window. You can easily walk to downtown. Overall, we were therefore satisfied.

This place was perfect for our trip to Funchal. The location was within walking distance to the city center and many shops and restaurants. Clean, spacious and well organized. The hosts were responsive in a timely fashion and we had no problems getting into the apartment. So pleased we chose this place!

Just amazing accommodation! Same as in the photos! Very quiet and peaceful. Really very nice host. It is located in a small village about 30 minutes from Funchal and close to everything by car. The place is wonderful for resting. We'll be back.

We were welcomed immediately very friendly by Connie, who gave us great tips for the restaurants in the neighborhood and some fresh vegetables from the garden. Connie and Johnny are always available for any questions, yet you have total privacy. The view is amazing, day and night. All furniture is from the highest quality, fully equipped kitchen, a perfect bed and an awesome bath. Worth every cent, just book it and you will have a dream vacation!

Luisa and her father were wonderful and sooo accommodating. This AirBNB is in the perfect location; less than 10 min walk from everything you’d want to do in Funchal. I’d stay here again.

This is an exceptional find in Madeira - beautiful apartment with one of the greatest infinity pools we've ever seen (we didn't have it heated, as the refreshing dip was PERFECT after walking up and down Madeira's incredibly steep hills!) Great amenities and if you don't fancy walking back up after an evening enjoying Calheta's fine restaurants, a taxi is only about €6 (would def recommend a car to explore the island though)

Wonderful home. In town but very peaceful place. Ricardo is a Superhost to help whenever you need. In addition, there is a car at guests' disposal. I highly recommend it. 👌

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

We had a great time at Susana's place. The accommodation is great, the view is magnificent, and very well placed to radiate to the 4 corners of the island. Quiet yet close to Funchal. Parking is a must. Communication with Susana was very fluid and pleasant, we also had the opportunity to meet her husband several times during our stay who was very friendly and gave us good advice in addition to a warm welcome. Thank you for the fruit which was great! We would 100% recommend this listing!

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Simone's house was lovely. Good location, great views and relatively quiet at night. Barking dogs may disturb some lighter sleepers! The kitchen was well equipped & the gift on arrival was appreciated. There is a small grocery store at the end of the street which sells basic provisions. We didn't hire a car but getting taxi/Uber was not an issue to get into Funchal. All in all a great little find.

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

Very nice apartment with stunning view. Close supermarket to buy everything we needed. Parking in underground garage. Cookies and bananas as a welcome gift were very great.

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

This condo was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. Plenty of seating, close to a grocery store and many restaurants. The infinity pool which looked over the ocean was lovely. We would definitely recommend.
