House On The Hill is situated on Idrijske Krnice plateau (1000 m a.s.l.), 12 km away from the old mining town of Idrija UNESCO. The idylic house is surounded with concrete bunkers (one with a sauna place* and second with selected wines) built by Italian army. Carefully selected interior, with close attention to local, natural materials and hand made furniture, creates a welcoming athmosphere. Since stress and pace cannot be avoided in the environment in which we live, we have renovated a wooden barn from 1813 for you in the middle of the forest, in a pleasant and peaceful environment. ​ In the granary, which was originally intended as an auxiliary facility on the farm, we rearranged the living and relaxation areas. In addition, we offer you a private sauna for pampering and a glass of sparkling wine on the terrace with a view of the forest and the animals in the pasture.
