Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Garden District, New Orleans

Great spot in the Garden District, very close to Parasol's and obviously Magazine Street. I would stay here again, the back patio/courtyard area was a nice bonus.

Well appointed and comfortable home with nice bed, good water pressure, great AC and friendly, helpful host, living right on the premises. Walkable to great restaurants and bars on Magazine street. About a $15 uber to French Quarter and Marigny.

We stayed here for our 5 days/4 nights in New Orleans. The bnb was exactly how pictured. Very clean. Very close to everything. We had a blown light bulb and they dropped a bulb off quickly. We would happily book again if we visit NO again.

Imbrie's place is clean, comfortable and convenient. We felt right at home and especially enjoyed the very comfy bed and the large shower. We didn't have a chance to make a full meal in the house but the kitchen was gorgeous, clean, and featured everything you would need in terms of spices and cookware. All the kitchen appliances seemed to be new as well. New Orleans is a hot and humid city but the bedroom has an excellent ceiling fan and the thermostat and AC were updated and worked great! The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to more restaurants, coffee shops, bars and breweries than we could enjoy even with 8 days in town!

Loved staying at Jason's place in New Orleans. This 1920 house has been creatively re-invented into a luxury one bedroom apartment. It features immensely tall ceilings, and has been fantastically decorated with all sorts of interesting details and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Would def stay again.

Mike's place was really comfortable and nice! We liked the location alot and can't wait to return and explore more of the area!

We had such a wonderful stay. It was a spectacular home, walkable to magazine street with all the shops/restaurants. We made so many special memories. I would absolutely recommend staying at this gem.

Michelle's home was absolutely perfect for my two adult children and me. We were able to park our car right along the side of the house and it never moved until we left. The home is in a great location. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough that we were able to walk to Magazine St and explore or walk to St Charles St and catch the trolley to the French Quarter. We felt very safe walking and loved looking at all the eclectic homes along the way. Michelle's home is equipped with everything we needed. It was so fun to stay in a true New Orleans style home. As suggested in another review a suitcase stand would be very helpful. Michelle is very quick to respond to any and all questions we had or recommendations we asked for. I highly recommend Michelle's home. An adorable home, in a great location hosted by gracious caring host. We will be back!

Lovely home

Nice apartment, extremely well located, walking distance from the street car and many grocery stores. Brian is a top host, very proactive and easy to communicate with (he responds to messages within a few minutes). We would definitely stay there again! Thank you Brian for letting us stay in your apartment, and for tour kindness during our stay from the start.

We had a wonderful stay at Ryan’s place! The location was perfect! Close to everything we needed and the list of local recommendations he provided was super helpful. The house itself was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Ryan was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Michael and Robert were incredible hosts. From the moment of arrival to every communication during our stay. They were friendly and thoughtful and made our first time to New Orleans that much nicer. The space was very nice and clean and super comfortable. A/C was definitely our saviour during our stay! The area was so nice and relaxing yet exciting. Plenty of amenities within short walking distances meant you would never need to leave the area if you didn’t want to. Which would be crazy because New Orleans as a whole has so much to offer everyone! Everything we had planned to do and see was within a convenient 20-25 minute drive max. The food was incredible, the people were so nice and our stay with Robert and Michael in this incredible city just may have made the short list for one of our favourite trips to date. We cannot wait to return and we will absolutely be booking with Michael and Robert again in the future.

Steven's place was perfect for our trip! We had two days in New Orleans and the location was ideal. 25-30 minute walk to the French Quarter or 2 minute walk to the nearest streetcar station which can also take you up through the Garden District and Magazine Street. Nearby shops and restaurants are also great! The place was clean and has everything you need for your stay. Check in/check out is super easy and secure and Steven is an incredibly responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend!

Place was great! Beautiful and well kept! It is noisy because it's on St Charles but they have a fan in the room we turned on and it drowned out the noise really well. The courtyard is nice to have breakfast in the morning and chill. Thanks so much for letting us stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at Casey’s place! This home is within walking distance to a bunch of great shops and restaurants which we really appreciate. Our favorite restaurant, Shaya, was just around the corner! The place itself came equipped with everything you could need for your stay. We loved the set up of the Airbnb and it was perfect for us and our newborn. Casey was responsive to every message we sent, and all instructions were very clear. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone traveling to New Orleans!

Excellent location! Loved the layout and coziness! Can’t beat being right on Magazine within walking distance to so many great food and shopping options.

We had a wonderful stay and everything was as described. The location is perfect for being close to public transit and many great restaurants. There is some street noise throughout the night, but that is expected when staying right in the heart of everything. Would definitely recommend for anyone planning to stay in the area.

Michelle’s place was as advertised with lots of room, clean, relatively quiet for its location and a great Mediterranean restaurant right next door as an extra bonus. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close location to the French Quarter but far enough away from the crowds.

I came here for a conference and brought my big dog. We both loved it! Great location- easy walk to canal street and bourbon street. Little corner shop 2 minutes away that had plenty of food and snacks and alcohol. Tons of dog friendly bars and restaurants nearby. Felt safe. It was surprisingly quiet inside the condo for being downtown. Bedroom was nice and dark and the bed was comfy. There’s a little park that’s about a 4 minute walk that was perfect for my dog to go potty. And had plenty of shade to escape the sun. Only downside was that it was across the main intersection there but it was easy enough to navigate. Parking was super easy even though pricey- parked in the lot around the corner. $46/day. I would def stay here again! We liked it so much that I extended my stay by an extra day and it was very easy to communicate with the host to make that happen.

This apartment was great. There is a noisy bar across the street but you don’t hear it in the bedroom. It’s beautiful inside and close to lots of restaurants and bus stops.

My sisters and I throughly enjoyed ourselves this weekend; the condo was beautiful and just as described. Bailey was helpful and very friendly. We felt incredibly safe and will stay here again when we return. We have told all our friends about how wonderful our stay was. Thank you!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay here. Brad and his team were helpful and quick to respond; all instructions were very clear. The unit was spotless and cozy, and the complex was modern and peaceful. I can't say enough about the neighborhood. It was very pleasant and the people were friendly and welcoming. It's very walkable and close to some of my new favorite restaurants in New Orleans. I come to this city every year and this has been my favorite so far.

This was our second stay at Will‘s place. We chose to stay there again for a few reasons: it was within walking distance to the event we attended at the Smoothie King Center, it was easy to park in one of the garages that are located across the street, we had peace of mind about our safety, and it has the comfort of home with great furnishings and amenities. Will’s place did not disappoint our second time around!
